Mimeography is the study of duplication. It has attracted many lore-hungry mages through claims of being able to gain knowledge at twice the normal rate. Wizards of this school practice duplicating themselves both physically and mentally, doubling their progression in the arcane arts.
Duplicity Savant
When you choose this tradition at 2nd level, you are able to copy up to two spells into your spellbook simultaneously. The time and gold required is determined by the higher level spell.
Minor Duplication
Also at 2nd level, you have learned a means of duplicating small objects. As an action, you may touch a nonmagical object that can fit within a 5-foot cube. An exact copy of the object appears right next to it. This copy functions as the original item, maintaining its shape for a number of hours equal to your Intelligence modifier or until you end it as a bonus action, after which it dissolves into dust. This feature will not duplicate an object that has a duplicate created by this feature still in existence. It also cannot be used to make a copy of a duplicate created by this feature.
Mirror Self
Starting at 6th level, you are able to temporary duplicate of yourself. As a bonus action, you may summon a double of you that appears in your space. The double has the same abilities, equipment, statistics, traits, and features as you. However, you and your double share your spell slots between you. The double rolls its own initiative. On its turn, you control the double. At the end of its turn, the double disappears.
Once you use this feature, you must finish a short or long rest before you can use it again.
Double Effort
When you reach 10th level, your rate of learning spells has nearly doubled. You may add two additional wizard spells to your spellbook, and one additional wizard spell each time you gain a level in this class.
Perfect Duplication
At 14th level, your mastery in the art of duplication has reached its peak. You may add the simulacrum spell to your spellbook if it isn't there already. When you cast it and create the simulacrum in your form, the simulacrum gain the following benefits:
The simulacrum's hit point maximum increases by an amount equal to half your wizard level.
The simulacrum possesses the same memories and personality as you, behaving as if it were you unless you command it otherwise.
When the simulacrum finishes a long rest, it may regain an expended spell slot of a level of your choice.
While you are within 1 mile of the simulacrum, you may use a bonus action to perceive through its senses. While doing so, you are blinded and deafened in regard to your own senses. While doing so, you may give commands to the simulacrum telepathically. With another bonus action, you may end this effect.
Devious serpent folk devoid of compassion, yuan-ti manipulate other creatures by arousing their doubts, evoking their fears, and elevating and crushing their hopes. From remote temples in jungles, swamps, and deserts, the yuan-ti plot to supplant and dominate all other races and to make themselves gods.
This is pretty strong. I like it, but it is probably more powerful than any other school.
Level 2: all spells can be copied for half the time and hold. Level 6: better action surge 1 per short rest. Level 10 MOAR SPELLS (you forgot the word "prepare" btw). Level 14 "A wizard school beyond all others. We are the Para-Dox brothers."
In my opinion, it’s certainly powerful, but with the change added in the end, it isn’t OP. It doesn’t allow more spells for less money, it reduces the need to multiclass into Fighter, You get more spells than the average wizard, and gain a better minion in the form of yourself. Overall, it’s good, and powerful in the hands of a good player, but not very powerful otherwise. You need to be in 2 places at once? Got it. You need to show People want a spell is? Check. You want to know more spells than everyone? Yessir. You wat to fling 5 fireballs a turn in spite of all slots you have? Mm-mmm. You want an Arcane ward for defense, Transmuter’s stone for free HP, or extra AC that is Bladesinger? Nope, not even close.
So, at level 2, if you have 2 scrolls, you put them in at the same time. No halving anything. It’s alright, I guess. Would you rather put in 2 scrolls in an hour for 50gp or 2 scrolls in 2 hours for 25 gp? (That isn’t to scale.)
Also, you can create a copy of stuff for a few hours. Useful if you can touch a key to a door, but it is locked, and the guards will notice if it disappears or something.
At level 6, you get what I say isn’t a better action surge, you get it later and you use it on a different turn. Nice if you want to pump out some damage with a bunch of Fireballs, or you really need to get out of trouble but still want to Blast something to death.
At level 10, you can add 2 more spells, and 3 spells every time you level up. Ehh... would be better if you could perpare more, but having spells is good in it’s own way.
At level 14, however, you gain a free Simulacrum spell, which means you can have 3 of you at the same time. This is powerful with preparation. You duplicate yourself, use Simulacrum, and multi class into fighter, you can now send 5 (I think) Fireballs in a round.
Here’s a tip- make it so the duplicate can’t duplicate itself. Then you have infinite Fireballs. That breaks the game a bit, don’t you think? Well, it does take ways pretty much all of your slots, so there’s that, but you can still make it so that you have an infinite turn. As long as you roll lower than you but higher than the enemy, of course.

Haven’t used this account in forever. Still a big fan of crawling claws.
