Last night I had a small stroke of inspiration after setting up loot for a future encounter for my group. The loot consists of 7 spell scrolls, so I thought how to best handle giving a player all of the scrolls.
Simply adding the vanilla spell scroll to the player's inventory and renaming the scrolls wouldn't work since a few of them are of the same level. Creating a homebrew spell scroll that doesn't stack solved that issue, but there is still no easy way for the player to gain access to the spell when they quickly need it. I've read of DMs who create custom singular spell scrolls for each specific spell that comes up, but that felt like too much of a hassle for me.
So that's when it came to me, why not create a Feat that uses the same mechanic as Ritual Caster, in that you can add the spells you have from spell scrolls to that list, and each spell shows up in the player's spell list.
Simply add it to a character as a Bonus Feat, and add all spells available to them via spell scroll to the list, the same way you add spells to the Ritual Caster feat.
After adding the spells to the list, it looks like this in the Character Sheet:
My feat has it set so that each spell has 1 use, and you can see each spell use if you go to the feat itself.

And as such, the feat Spell Scroll was born.

That's one way to do it.
