Without seeing it first-hand, I can only guess. Feel free to link the homebrew you're working on here, it does not need to be published for a forum moderator to see.
However, I see this happen often if there is not enough content in the description. If it is blank, or only has one word, or something similar.
Ahh that's it. I was just confused by the message word choice. I wasn't planning on publishing it, at least not yet. Was a work in progress and had "temp" for description for now, as working on mechanics before fluff. Want to make sure I can get it down right before going through all fluff. Was just confused by the constant bold red thing complaining about english...
Happens to me all the time whenever I put [WIP] in the fluff fields for a piece of homebrew I'm experimenting with. Good to know the reasoning behind it, even if "insufficient character count" being equivalent to "not English" is moderately hilarious. Remember, everybody - English speakers are wordy. DDB says so :P
Well I'm certainly not speaking Klingon...
What does this even mean? As a native english speaker writing in english, how exactly am I getting this issue?
Hello Ardenwolf,

It's likely that your description field has insufficient words in to qualify to be published.
Please remember that you don't need to publish homebrew to use it yourself or in a campaign you are a member of.
