I've had a feat floating around for a bit that allows small characters to act as larger characters for purposes of using weapons and grappling. I've copied it below. I need a bit of advice.
Outsized Strength
Prerequisite: A Small race, Strength 13 or higher.
A giant among the small folk, you gain the following benefits:
Increase your Strength or Constitution score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
While grappling, you are considered to be Medium.
Wielding a heavy weapon doesn’t impose disadvantage on your attack rolls.
You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.
I like the structure of the feat, but the wording is imprecise. For the second bullet point, I want small characters to be able to grapple Large creatures normally while they are still Small, but as stated it would seem to imply that they are treated as Medium-sized even if subjected to an effect that changes their size. Ie. it implies that under the effects of an enlarge/reduce spell, they would still be considered Medium for grappling.

Do you folks have suggestions for better wording?
"You count as a Medium creature for the purposes of grappling enemies."
