firstly, you don't need to publish your homebrew to use it - publishing makes it available for the community - we ask that you ensure your homebrew is tested and working before publishing.
The reason that you're seeing that message is because you have set your homebrew race to "have subraces" - this means, like "Elf" it isn't a race that can be selected on its own and needs subraces to be created like, "Wood Elf" and "High Elf" are for Elf.
I know i'm necroing but i have an issue with this, i made a new version of a parent race and it shows the "This homebrew Race has been set to have subraces, but no subraces have been created." even tho the subraces already exist, can i link them somehow?
