How would you make beetlejuice as a warlock patron? what would the relationship be like? what king of patron would he be maybe undying? how would you do this? I feel a beetle juice themed npc would just be a fun way for a DM to have a player character that allows them to bullshit often enough without them worrying about outshining the player while also giving the warlock player a fun patron lol.
I think I'd go for Archfey, a sort of undead fey prankster, you'd need to switch up the spells a little, going by the animated series wiki he's got a few illusion based abilities that he uses as well as being a walking germ factory, so maybe have:
As for a relationship, maybe he is searching for a bride (as pr Lydia in the film) or maybe he just appears and makes a deal to people that say his name 3 times and works in some clause where they sell their soul to him if they summon him again, maybe granting wishes but always interprets them in the most unfortunate way possible (such as "I wish to be the richest person in the world" results in them being teleported to a small, inescapable cavern deep underground with 1 copper piece in their hand).

* Need a character idea? Search for "Rob76's Unused" in the Story and Lore section.
Rob's got a great idea with the B-Man being a mixture of Fey & Fiend.
I'd say the B-Guy would give his warlock the following Pact Abilities:
Level 1: Fey Presence (Fey)
Level 6: Dark One's Own Luck (Fiend)
Level 10: Beguiling Defenses (Fey)
Level 14: Hurl Through Hell (Fiend)
And remember... nobody says the B-word!
