I'm homebrewing an item from a 3rd party adventure we ran with charges of Chromatic Orb. There is no Chromatic Orb option in the list. I was able to add all the other spell charges it had without issue.

D&D Beyond FoundersChromatic Orb is in the Player's Handbook - you need to own that source (or just the spell from it) to be able to use it to create homebrew.
