I'm trying to build the Circle of Sacrifice Druid circle from Odyssey of the Dragonlords (most other Dragonlord subclasses have already been done by various people - thank you all!). This is different from the one existing Circle of Sacrifice subclass in the Homebrew I see (though interestingly similar). I would have just created an example subclass that did this and worked from there, but I couldn't think of one, sadly.
Anyway it all seems to be fine, but the Circle of Sacrifice Druid gets the Produce Flame cantrip at L2, but it also gets +WIS mod to Produce Flame damage (their whole deal is finishing people off with this cantrip). I can't see any obvious way to do this. I could probably just create a homebrew spell "Produce Flame (Circle of Sacrifice)", but if there's a "right" way to do it, I'd prefer that. Hope this is a simple question, and thank you for any help!
I assume you've sorted this by now, but the way I settled on, is just to get the cantrip, then within the cantrip click Customize, and change the Damage bonus to your Wis modifier. You will need to remember to manually alter this whenever you increase your wis stat.
Adding the other subclass features has been convoluted, eg to simulate Ritual of Mistletoe I've created a magic item with 6 or whatever charges, which can cast Cure Wounds etc, but also has the option to cast a custom 'mistletoe spell' that I created, which just rolls a d4. The immolation/bless effect can be done in a similar way. With hindsight, I guess doing it by editing an actual subclass would have been more straightforward.
