I couldn't specifically find any legal jargon about whether or not we can PUBLICLY post homebrew content from or for old/inactive in 5E campaign settings like: Planescape, Dark Sun, Dragonlance, etc.
I would love to put some stuff out there from my games, but I wanted to make sure I could legit do it first!
Copyright to Dark Sun, Planescape, Dragonlance etc are all held by Wizards. PDF scans of all these game worlds output under other prior editions are available through other vendors under agreement with WOTC. Even if WOTC and these other vendors didn't have it available, you'd still be pretty clearly deriving your work (5e conversions) off of copyrighted material and that's a cut and dry no no.
Nothing is stopping you from doing those conversions in your private home-brew and sharing it with your campaign, you just can't open it up to public.
I for one would love to see WOTC either in house or through some authorized other party work up official conversions of those throwback or classic worlds to 5e, float them as UA, and maybe even do professional hardback and DND releases of "classic worlds" for anything really popular. Or maybe some sort of "retro vault" you can access exclusively through DnD Beyond (nudge) but I don't believe either of those are a priority for WOTC at the moment.

If you are not sure then I would advise against doing this...

Thanks for the replies! Says no copyrighted content - so HB content is basically your universal go-to for stuff, not bad, and I like the format.
None of my stuff gon' be public though. Lol
