the higher the level, the more they can summon, or a bigger creature. there are only three sizes, small, medium, large. the size cast starts with three, level 1-4, the size cast goes to four, level 5-8, the size cast goes to five, level 9-12, the size cast goes to six, level 13-17, then the cast size goes to seven, level 18-19, then at level twenty the cast level goes to eight.
Astral Summoner Traits
No one knows who their parents were, left to be orphans in the land of the mortals, but with one extraordinary gift, they could summon beasts from a place that no one knew of. and these beasts could be used to do many wonderous things. even the works of evil, and destruction.
Astral Vision
Player can see into their chosen plane clearly, but not as clearly when looking into a plane of another summoner unless they also possess the same plane of casting.
upon a successful perception check they can identify a new creature when they take a long rest. or can look into a small segment of a possible future.
Driver
A driver can not only summon creatures from the Astral plane, they can bond with and add their HP to their own plus Speed, Strength Dexterity, for duration of combat.
after combat, they will take astral damage, which is 1d6 damage depending on how long combat takes depends how many d6 is taken. this can be avoided depending on bond level to a chosen creature of summon.
in order to have a better bond the driver must use it in battle for it to gain the experience this can be done with several creatures, but it will take time to create a proper bond with each creature since the growth only happens in battle.
Astral Bond
The driver can bond with the Astral Creature adding its HP, Speed, Dexterity, and Strength during combat.
however the bond can be severed in combat if the driver is knocked unconscious, and only half of the combat experience will go to the bond of the Astral creature and the driver.
