This is a homebrewed Vestige of Divergence (EGtW270) that's gonna be central to the homebrew campaign I'm running. Any suggestions for changes to balance/flavour/wording and any opinions at all would be greatly appreciated!
Edit: See comments for most recent version.
Weapon (glaive), legendary (requires attunement by a non-evil creature)
Crafted by the planetars of Elysium, this large glaive has a brilliantly reflective blade and a wooden pole engraved with symbology of the Dawnfather.
Dormant
The glaive grants the following benefits in its dormant state:
You can speak, read, and write Celestial.
You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
As a bonus action, you can speak a command word and turn the blade into a beacon of radiant light. For 1 minute the glaive emits bright light in a 30-foot radius and dim light for an additional 30 feet. In addition, weapon attacks made with it deal an extra 1d8 radiant damage on a hit. This property can't be used again until the next dawn.
Awakened
When the glaive reaches an awakened state, it gains the following properties:
The weapon’s bonus to attack and damage rolls increases to +2.
The extra radiant damage dealt by this weapon while beacon of radiance is active increases to 2d8.
You gain proficiency in Wisdom saving throws.
Exalted
When the glaive reaches an exalted state, it gains the following properties:
The weapon’s bonus to attack and damage rolls increases to +3.
While wielding the weapon, if you make a successful saving throw against a magical effect or spell, or a spell misses you, you can use your reaction to choose another creature within 30 feet of you that you can see. The spell affects the chosen creature instead of you. You cannot use this ability again until you have completed a short or long rest.

You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.
