Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Either Experience: Location/Timezone: Denver/MST Availability: I'm available Wednesday and Saturday nights, but Wednesday would probably be preferred, after 6pm Preferred role: Player Game style: I'm looking for a fairly casual game, I enjoy the RP and plotlines, but definitely don't mind going through some solid dungeon crawls either.
I'm FullmetalChef13, aged 27, and I have been playing DND for about 2 years on and off out of the past about 10, just never took the time to find an actual group. I can play most classes, as I care more about the who of my character than the what, so I can always find a way to fill a hole in a group for whatever we may need. I'm hoping to find a good group of people to hang out with either every week or every other week and create a story together with them.
Thank you everyone for taking the time to read through, and may the dice roll in your favor!
I am intrigued for sure. How would we go through such a playstyle? Honestly it may work better considering my commitment with everything going on. Would you want to transfer communications to something else or continue on this?
Essentially, I post a game turn, which collates everything that happened since the last post. It's the official version of events.
Then players and me discuss and state intentions much as if we were face to face, but via email or some kind of chat. Dice rolls and outcomes get sorted.
Then I collate all this into another official game turn. Rinse and repeat. The official turns should make a readable story, kind of like an ongoing short story or novella.
In terms of the setting, I'll send something meatier out once I've got a few more interested parties, but the game world is recovering from an apocalypse, borders are expanding, magic is awakening and sleeping evils are stirring!
How the story begins and subsequently unfolds will depend on what characters people want to play. Like I say: sandbox ;)
I just started and trying to find a group to play. I have writing and RP experience for about 2 years, but I have no clue on how to play D&D since where I’m from it’s not normal and living in a small town is not helping. I would love to have a group
if you want ^-^ I’m here and always excited to play

Yeah, sounds great! Count me in. What platform would work best for chatting moving forward?
I'll get back to you once I've gathered a few more players =)
Hi :)
