Watedeep: Dragon Heist is a treasure hunt set against the urban backdrop of the Forgotten Realms' most famed city, namely Waterdeep, the City of Splendors! In this adventure, the heroes are placed in the midst of an escalating war between rival crime syndicates, hunt for a rumored fortune, and engage with the varied political interests of the city's most prominent factions.
If you enjoy flexing your roleplay muscles, political intrigue, mystery, and tough moral decisions which can affect not only Waterdeep, but all of the Sword Coast, then this is the right adventure for you! Furthermore, it is important to me that my games not only be welcoming of LGBT+ and BIPOC folk, but inclusive of them. Players should expect NPCs to come from a variety of backgrounds!
Finally, this adventure is designed to take a party on a journey from 1st to 5th level. thus, the heroes of this game find themselves solely the "heroic tier" of gameplay. This can be dissatisfying to those who enjoy the power-fantasy of higher levels. Nonetheless, players will be given the power to influence the world around them in meaningful ways.

My name is Victor (he/him). I am a Philosophy Ph.D. student who professionally DMs, and I use my philosophy background to inform my DM style. If you're into the rule of cool, roleplay, and moral dilemmas (does the party smother the dragon hatchling or risk waking its parents?) then I am the DM for you! I am well experienced with TTRPGs, fantasy settings, and DMing (8 years experience). I DM multiple times a week, constantly honing my craft. I often re-skin characters and plot points to better incorporate and immerse your character!
