Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online Experience: a few years Location/Timezone: EST/soon to be PST Schedule: TBD Roles sought: 4-6 players Game style: The city of Luskan is home to demon worshippers, occult learners, and the odd kobold or goblin. For the past few days, a body has been rotting on Luskan's biggest dock, no man, woman, or kobold has dared to loot it or toss it into the sea. None of the five captains ordered the man's death, and no street gang has claimed the kill. A group of detectives was recruited by the captains to discover the killer, as The Night Watched Over a Corpse.
This is a short adventure running between levels 3-6 or 7. It's influenced by Cultist Simulator, HP Lovecraft, and film Noir. Jazzy music and thick atmosphere is the goal of the campaign, alongside some fun detective work. The setting is the City of Luskan in The Forgotten realms, but with more of a late 1800s victorian/1920s noir kind of feel. Cobblestone streets and oil lamps. Strongly reccommend against audience members in this game, I don't mind having one or two, but if you're the kind of player who likes sitting back and watching things go down, the game won't be for you. The game will require a certain amount of player initiative.
We'll be playing on roll20 and discord. If you want to join in, send me a DM at Dex#1790 on discord. Include Name: Gender: DnD Exp: Favorite Pieces of Media: a character concept, and your available times. Alongside any questions you might have.
Some of my favorite things in media are anime such as Castlevania and Cowboy Bebop, Game of Thrones, Disney Movies. Looking for some more D&D options.
My Character Concept is a Clockwork Soul Sorcerer with a 1 level dip in Cleric (Order Domain) basically a support caster. Which is my favorite playstyle.
I am available day time before 2 pm during the week Monday through Friday and anytime before 5pm on Saturday or all day Sunday
Availability, weekends, Fridays to Sundays EST 5pm
My character concept. Sorcerer. If possible. I was murdered and some how came back to life to find my killer. Haven't fully fleshed the back story out yet, but can if needed.
Available Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays after 2 pm PDT
Fave Media: Crime and detective shows (real or fiction), horror movies, psychological horror games, Dimension20 campaigns
I have a lot of character concepts rattling around in my head, but ones I’ve been interested in doing is either a High-Elf Artificer who was in a serious accident and is looking for proof of foul play, or a Columbo-esc Drow Monk who uses flattery and clumsiness to gain intel and trust.
