Fairly new player looking for a long term GMT based group.

Hello all, 

I'm free most evenings aside from Sundays when I am in another D&D session.

I'd love to group up with some other, similarly experienced players for a long term campaign and hopefully a lasting friendship!

Currently, I play as a Paladin, but for my next role I'd prefer to play a primary spellcasting class! I look forward to hearing from people.

I used to play some of the video games that were D&D based like Neverwinter Nights and Baldurs Gate so I've had my 'foot in the door' for years!

I played some years ago but rl and moving got in the way. I was playing in a campaign but lockdown and people dropping out stopped that

I'd love to get back now the course I was doing has finished. Due to work commitments, I'm only really free Friday evening (after 8 or so, atm) or Saturday (excluding Sunday as you already play then).

I think I'd prefer a rogue or ranger (tasha version), maybe a caster of some sort, but I'm adaptable.

Nice to meet you! Such a shame that lockdown etc stopped your campaign short; glad to hear you have got the time to start playing again though! 

Perhaps a discord group for the four of us may be a good idea to see if the Homebrew campaign that Warden_Snook has mentioned is something that we are interested in pursuing? :)

Yeah, lockdown was a pain re the campaign. It is lovely to have a bit more time, even if only Friday/Saturday due to work (I'm a keyworker).

Oh I know the feeling; I was a keyworker until recently, but now I am back to the shift work thing that it makes it more difficult to guarantee time off! 

I'm not a fan of irregular shifts. I have regular shifts, hence the time slots I can do (although they might change later, but I should have warning about that).

I have messaged Warden_Snook to touch base and see what the homebrew is, but they're playing atm so either a chat at ~1am or tomorrow. I do think a discord group for the four of us would be a good idea anyway so we can see what we all like/would be interested in. I'm djt#6056

OK. I had a bit of a chat with Warden_Snook and friend and they seem really friendly and outgoing etc. I'd suggest chatting with them too and seeing what you think re pursuing it.

Just since it makes sense to ask here - for everyone who is interested on this thread.

Times of games?(There are two and certain days may suit different people). Added to that, typical length of a session?

Any details on the world that might help create characters?

Allowed races, classes (you mentioned some were restricted)?

Best method of contacting you, maybe?

Guys, if you want, i run a discord server  that's UK based, we have one shots and campaigns on the go, we tend to play between 7 and 10/11pm most nights, as long as your 18+ we'll welcome you

we use discord for voice, roll20 for maps and dndbeyond for characters

i personally am running 3 campaigns but im willing to do tutorials on how to set maps etc up and how to run games
