I'am new to D&D and have no clue what I am doing to be honest but I can try to learn and study

no worries, im in the same boat! the campaign is mostly newbies so im hoping it can be collaborative-- im not too worried about sticking too strictly to the rules, i just want our first few games to be fun and creative. online there are some free rulebooks that you can look at for an idea of how the game is structured
