New West march style server! Opens 6pm est today!

Hello! A brand new discord server is opening today for west march style play, 5e. It is an 18+ server run by a crew of experienced admin, stellar DMs, and opens at 6 pm est. In the city of Moirai your destiny rules you.

The Mad Queen of Moirai--as she is known across the five kingdoms-- has long held with the old superstitions that there are those fated to bless the world, and those fated to curse it. After the passing of three heirs through horridly freakish accidents, she has opted to ensure that the fates side with her city--hoping against all hope that her current heir survives to rule over the realm.

Law after law was passed, helping to ensure that the fates, the gods, and the stars all aligned with her, and those who wish to enter the gates must first have their fortune read by the queen's most trusted officials--The Tellers.

Some fates are cursed, some fates are special, but ALL of those who enter the city must answer for themselves whether they will take control of their fate, or let fate take control of them.

What does "Westmarch style" mean? I am a newish player but am available at 6pm est to play. 35 yo, He/Him. Any restrictions on character creation?

I see you've already joined, but to answer this for other people, I'll just say West March is a super cool style of DND where you help expand and create the world around you by interacting with different components. In this sort of world, you'll be able to RP// play whenever you want around the clock. We use PBP and live events, so the world is really constantly building on itself.

I would love to join and have been rpging and dming most of my life. I am new to 5th ed and need some help learning the changes but am open to anything that fits the group. Let me know if you agree.
