Hello all, my name is Nick (20M), and I'm looking for a new online group to play D&D 5e with. I've been playing for about 5 years now and really love to immerse myself in the characters and story of the world. I love to roleplay and develop connections between PCs and the world. Prefer homebrew settings, leaning a bit more towards roleplay, and starting at level 1.
I certainly don't mind playing with newer players or groups but would probably prefer a bit of previous experience. I tend to favor a more serious, character-driven story, but of course love ridiculous shenanigans and love to incorporate plenty of humour myself.
Ultimately, I'm just looking to find a chill group to play D&D with and have fun. I'm pretty open when it comes to times and other technical D&D related mechanics or story themes; and while I have stated my preferences, I'm very flexible and just love a good, emotional, story. Hoping to find a bunch of friendly and welcoming people who I can get lost in another world with.
I'm generally better at one-shots than long term but I don't have my reg group since I got covid (it's not bad just minor cold symptoms) I'm a bored dm looking to do a silly one-off campaign
