Project Aurora is a persistent world in D&D that is expanding every day! All 6+ campaigns are connected in the same world and can affect each other in big or small ways. Currently we are a small group of 14 Dungeon masters with a little over 50 players and we are looking for more on both end! Though we are looking for players, we are in serious need of more Dungeon masters. As with more dungeon masters equals more games for the players!
Campaigns in Project Aurora can be affected a multitude of ways. These actions can shape an experience in D&D that isn’t normally possible. Here is some examples of those scenarios:
=====Examples=======
Example 1(Small Scale) - Finding an old magic item that was created/found by another player in a shop or dungeon they previously explored.
Example 2(Medium Scale) - A player has a breakthrough discovering inter-planar travel at ease. However its untested and multiple horrific creatures from the rifts begin to pour out. Everything’s "ok" until another group of players run into one of those creatures while walking into the forest.
Example 3(Large scale) - A Group kills the king and takes over a city. Because of this multiple nearby cities go into disarray and chaos without leadership. Factions gain or lose more power. Some guards begin recruiting adventurers to help take back the city from the so-called “revolutionists”.
Game Systems: We exclusively run a 5E D&D System using D&D beyond and Roll20.
Experience levels: We are looking for people of all types of experience.
Who should join: Whether you're a long time Dungeon Master, someone who's never played D&D before or someone in between, there's a place for you in the community!
Rules: The Discord follows standard community rules however, we have an entire rules channel in the discord for any more information.
Age Requirement: The community is 17+ only. We have people of all ages, but 17 is youngest allowed.
Timezone: We have people from all types of time zones and areas. However, the more common time zone is EST(edited)
Hey, was wondering about your guy's rules on homebrew and the use of it in this world. Because there are some fun and great things like the hydra goose and weapons that create fun ties to fandoms and other worlds.
