After recently finishing our last campaign of about 4 years, we are already getting ready to start a brand new adventure in DnD 5E! For that our group of three (GM and two players; ages 25-36) is currently looking for two more players to join us on our travels on a world none of us have stepped onto before!
We will be playing once a week on Tuesday evenings (7pm/GMT+2) with each session going for 2 to 3 hours. We will be playing online using Roll20 with Discord video + audio. Both new and experienced players of DnD 5E or RPG‘s as a whole are welcome.
We are now looking for players who want to engage in a more lighthearted campaign, that will give you the opportunity to adventure through a fantasy world with modern influences, fight monsters and role play. There is no big overarching plot for this one, since it is also meant to try out themes and subjects that we are interested in at the moment. Player input will influence where the path will lead us as much as our GM’s ideas.
Game-wise, homebrew stuff should be fine as long as it‘s not disruptive to the game (talking with our GM to find something you like is not only an option, but encouraged). Other than that we usually stay true to the rules of 5E, but still with the opportunity to tweak it here and there if necessary. We are most likely to use point-buy for character creation. PC‘s will start at level one with the intention to go through at least the first few levels at a brisk pace.
Most importantly, we want everyone playing to feel comfortable, to have fun and to feel included! If there are issues of some sort coming up they can be discussed and hopefully solved. That said, discrimination in any form is not acceptable and everyone deserves a base level of respect, in and out of character!

Hi, My names James im a 27 years old, I've played Dnd on and off since I was 20 mostly one shots most recently I've been GMing a solo campaign for my little brother who's 11. Its really got me in the mood to be a PC. I've used Roll 20 before however has been a while. I would love the opportunity to play with some seasoned players and GM. I have a character prepared a Eladin Artifcer with a basic back story that I would beef up once I know the setting and I could speak with the GM to make sure it fits in with the world. Hello. I’m Tim, a 28 year old guy from the U.S. I work at home, so I have a flexible schedule. I’ve been playing 5E for 3 years. I like making a character that fits well into the world, and roleplaying their personality. Doing a voice for my characters is always fun. Flavoring spells and features to go along with a theme is also a favorite part of DnD for me. I’ve never started from Level 1 and it would be awesome to start off from a short backstory and a character who had very little adventuring experience. It would be a different and very interesting game for me in that sense. I love a group who is invested in the story and knows when to joke and when to stay in character. Hi, I'm a 27 year old guy from Finland, so timezone would work out fine. Experience for about 2-3 years. Live games I've run myself, I've played online in one shots and on a bigger server where games are weekly/daily and have their own storylines. Addittionally I've been playing in 2 pure pbp games for about a year now. The server where I play online games uses Roll20 so the sheet is pretty familiar, but not an expert in the site specifically. This sounds interesting, I don’t normally work Tuesdays so it shouldn’t be an issue with that. I can always talk to my manager about making that a permanent day off or half day. I’m in the uk which I think means I’m an hour behind you at the moment? Also are face cameras mandatory? I don’t own one.
As for me, I’m James, 34, from the UK. Relatively new to DnD. Always thought it sounded interesting but never had the opportunity to play. Played my first game last November with some online friends, started off with two one shots and we now have a Sunday campaign every two weeks. Over lockdown I watched/listened to a lot of DnD. Mainly the Oxventure, VLDL and Unprepared Casters. I don’t have much experience but would love to learn more.

Hey, I'm Tom, 26 from UK. I have been playing D&D for 4 years, I took a break and recently came back, I have been struggling to find dedicated and tight groups. I really love D&D, been watching a lot of seasons and such from YouTube and Twitch for a while now, such as Critical Role. I really hope to find a group where the players are consistent and won't leave the group. I have pretty much used all tools/platforms that allow for a good experience with D&D.
