I used to play religiously every weekend. Started with the original red box, teaching myself to play, and found various groups to join with later in life. I've always loved the game, and a couple of years ago when the pandemic first hit, I was able to bring my wife into one of my favorite past times. I'd like to find a group that can play Saturday or Sunday as those are the open days for both of us. We both work late during weekdays. I'll keep reading the posts here, but if you think we could possibly fit into your campaign, give me a shout and we can talk. Will consider a paid game if the price is reasonable.
I have also found that reading the reviews and profiles of the GMs is helpful in deciding what game and what Gamemaster to choose. There is no correlation between the price of the game and the quality and skill of the Gamemaster in my opinion and experience. But see the disclaimer below. 😉 👇
I'm an experienced DM currently getting together some paid games to play on Roll20, basically running Dragons of Ice Spire Peak/Lost Mines of Phandelver (though I've mixed up the plot elements and NPC's quite a bit to make it my own Frankenstein) I have a Friday 7-11pm going with 4 really good players in it looking for comrades. Also Sun (3 great players as well currently) & Thu games. Also considering working in some Curse of Strahd Campaigns. They are paid games if you're open to that. I take pride in engaging and entertaining my players as well as staying true to the rules (mostly:)). I've been running for decades and can run a great, long-term campaign. I'm reliable and dedicated to the art. The chemistry in both my current groups is really solid and entertaining. I'm looking to add to either or get a 3rd started so let me know if interested. Thanks for your consideration, and either way I hope you find a great game to play in! You can see what I have going here:
