Hello, everyone. I am an experienced DM for a game that’s been running for over a year. All of the current players are players original to the game, but we are looking for another one/two/several to even out the odds a bit. We have 4 players currently. Here is what is written next, A bit about the DM, A bit about the campaign, A Bit about the Players, the Setting/World, and what we are looking for.

A Bit about the DM:

Hello, I am a 26 y/o Male. I have been DMing since I was dramatically younger, probably somewhere around 12 to 16 years. I am married to my wonderful wife, she usually appears a few times throughout the game. I have children as well, so I know how to wrangle a party back together. My favorite ice cream is cookies and cream and I enjoy sleeping.

A Bit about the Campaign:

The year is 1702, a famous bard has recently passed away and the cause of death didn’t quite line up. A group of adventurers, friends of the recently departed, joined forces to find the cause of death, as well as find a book for an adventurer. The search brought them to a wood elf, holding onto the book, having taken it from the funeral. The party then went to a cave on the other side of town, finding a journal. They then went back to town, finding a woman asking questions about the deceased. They all joined forces before continuing on, traveling to a well, where several members got bit. They then traveled to a mansion, finding it haunted, a portrait of a party member hanging on the wall for several centuries before. They found references telling them about a specific place, Obsidian Point, and that is where we are now. 

The campaign is played Saturdays at 2-5 PM, EST, New York City Time, explaining cause I know there’s other time zones that are weird, like GMT which is both in America and England.

A Bit about the Players:

We currently have 4 players, 3 guys and 1 girl. They are all nice and friendly and we generally stick around after a session for a bit. It’s not a requirement, but we all have fun and like to talk about it. I try to stick around, but usually have to disappear around the time it ends. 

We have 2 players in GMT [UK Based], and 3 in EST [USA Based].

The Setting/World:

The setting of the campaign takes place in the year 1702. It is a world full of magic, so some things are more advanced, some are less. Magic is in weird places. There are towns with and without magical natives, so you might come across someone that doesn’t know how to react to your magic. There is also a train running laps around the continents of the world.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for 1 to 2 esque players. We would prefer if they were female, but it’s ok if not. (We want to even out the masculinity a bit, we started with 6 guys and a girl.) We would like another spellcaster/ healer, but feel free to bring any character to the table.

We would like to interview 10 people total, so feel free to either reply to this post or DM me. We don’t mind if you are a beginner or experienced veteran, we accept all playstyles and people. I, The DM, will be hosting interviews on discord throughout the coming week and will discuss each one with the players this Saturday pre-session. After the session, we will decide as a party who will join our campaign. We'll decide on 3 people and interview all 3 one on one as a group the following week. Decisions will be made after the last person has been interviewed, give or take an hour.

Hi! I´m interested in playing your campaing. My name is Blitz, i´m a 20 y/o Male and i live in Brazil (gmt-3, the game time would work for me no problem). I play dnd for about 2 years now and i´m looking for a new group to have fun on my saturdays. I´m more of a team player, but if the party permits it and wants to, i like to break the law (in game of course XD) a bit. My character name is Ethan, he is an eladrin and could either be a Fathomless Warlock or Tempest Cleric (whatever the party needs more, but personaly, i would go for the Warlock). For backstory, i would like to know a bit more of the world setting first so there isn´t any plot holes but, he either made a deal or worships an ancient water elemental, looking for ways to fulfill his master´s endless hunger. Hi. I'm interested in your campaign. My name is Nik, I am a 21 y/o nonbinary person. I have played dnd off and on for about 6 years and am hoping to find a group to play with. I have many different characters that I have thought of and would like to play so I can be very versatile in where I could fit in. Although I have two in mind that might work for this campaign. The first is Xyrdove, they are a Hexblood Bloodhunter, who hails from the feywild. They are playful in attitude but also very protective of those who they care about. The other is Anastasia Dumein, an Aasimar Twilight cleric, who is an high priestess in training. She wants to bring comfort to the dark in any way she can. 

Heyo!! Id be more than glad to join, its been roughly almost a year since ive had the chance to join a dnd group so id be hella excited to see where this leads! My name's Vali, my dumbass is 19 with a bucket o chaotic luck pft, and im nonbinary riddled with a healthy(?) dose of insomnia. I have a few characters ive never been able to use but one ive been recently hyperfixating over is the concept of a changeling rogue/warlock statwise, but theyre basically the kiddo of a dragon but they cant even grow wings worth a dime, lil goofball ive got a few cunning ideas for, such as considerations for casting alternative uses depending upon environment and circumstances, like using mage hand to tap an enemy on the shoulder from behind in an attempt to distract, or using eldritch blast compressed into a closed space to instead launch herself at potential risk of health (possibility of this and odds at dm discretion as per law of the land ofc), aaand i almost forgot to mention the characters name! It's maevi!! Of course i could go for a healer character if need be but my preference is finding new ways to use magic and gamble with an odd strategy, if that's okay? Tots understand if not tho frfr

My first ever D&D character got his arm blown off by touching a Spell Gem that had Lightning Bolt cast into it. Why did he do it? He wanted to know what spell was in the gem. My party's blind Cleric was allowed to re-attach the arm, but it ended up crooked, permanently. It was hilarious. I'm from Eastern Canada, my Timezone is EST or GMT -5.

Race/Class: More than likely Gem Dragonborn/Artificer if allowed, otherwise Bard/Warlock

About the Character: He's a kind soul who just wants peace [regardless of class choices]. He knows how to stand up for himself, and others, and mostly wants to spread good by helping as many people as he can. He'll only kill if necessary, personally, but won't stop others from doing so unless he believes the target of their ire to be innocent.
