Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online [Roll20 - DnDBeyond - Discord] Experience: Available for all types of players. Location/Timezone: Sydney, Australia. AEST Schedule: View timetable -> HERE <- click there to view my available hours of starting times. Roles sought: 3-5 Player per Campaign Game style: My game style centers around immersive storytelling, where narrative takes the lead and combat plays a supporting role (combat is always an option, if played right). I believe every action has consequences, so choices matter and can shape the world around you. I run homebrew campaigns that are tailored to the players, allowing for unique, character-driven stories that evolve over time. My focus is on creating a living, breathing world where your character’s personal journey intertwines with the broader adventure.
About me: Hello! My name is Camsinn, or Cam for short.
I’ve been playing Dungeons & Dragons for over 8 years and have spent the last 4-5 as a Game Master (GM). I’ve always been passionate about storytelling and crafting detailed, immersive worlds for players to explore. My focus is on creating open, living environments where your character’s personal story becomes an integral part of the adventure.
For the longest time, friends have asked why I haven’t charged for my games. I never really considered it until the past two years. I’ve played in games where GMs charge players but sometimes felt they didn’t deliver what was promised—asking for $40-60 for 3 hours of gameplay a week, often sticking to rigid module books. While that works for some, I thrive in open-ended, creative spaces where I can take your ideas and expand on them, offering something unique that you can’t find anywhere else.
Now, I’ll be honest, I’ve always disliked the idea of charging people to play in my games. But if I want to make this a full-time gig, I need to be realistic. So, I’ve found a balance that I hope you’ll find interesting. Half of the payment I receive will go toward essentials like bills, rent, and food. The other half will go directly back into enhancing your experience, whether that’s through physical or digital rewards as a thank-you for joining me on this ever-expanding universe we’ll create together.
If this sounds intriguing to you, check out the banner below for details on what I’m offering. My partner, who’s fantastic at creating these banners, has also added all the info you need to reach me via Discord. I’d love to see you in the game!
Below, you'll find my pricing based on your location. If you don’t see your area listed, feel free to reach out, and I’ll get back to you with a price! I'm happy to accommodate where possible, so don’t hesitate to ask.
Exert from the Timeline of Birth, Death and Rebirth. A living and growing Universe molded by Players and thier actions.
Combating the Fall was a task no human could survive, for how can one kill energy? However, both factions failed to recognize the true ingenuity of humanity—the ability to lie. Despite the immense power of the Celestials, lying was a concept neither faction had ever conceived. It was a purely human invention.
Humans, fascinated by the Fall's love of death, reached out to them, asking what death truly meant. The Fall, unsure of the answer, began to debate among themselves, holding sessions of intense discussion both among their kind and with these intriguing creatures called humans.
During one such session, a human posed a provocative question: "If death is art, why have you not made yourself Art?" This question stirred profound contemplation among the Fall. Some saw this as the ultimate expression of their philosophy, the greatest of all endings—the death of a Celestial. Others pondered whether it was better to witness this ultimate art rather than be a part of it.
For several more decades, the Fall continued to discuss and debate, wrestling with the implications of the Human question. The idea of a Celestial willingly embracing true death became a central topic of their philosophical explorations. The debates grew increasingly intense, dividing the Fall further as they pondered the ultimate sacrifice for their art.
Finally, after much deliberation, the Fall reached a consensus. To truly understand and embody the essence of their belief in the beauty of endings, a Celestial must die. This decision marked a pivotal moment in their existence, as one among them prepared to embrace the ultimate fate. This voluntary death would be a profound act of creation through destruction, an unparalleled work of art.
With the true death of a Celestial, a new entity was born. These beings, born from the death of a Celestial, embodied decay, rot, and the relentless passage of time. They rose up to take their place among the stars, akin to how humans had before them and called themselves the Hunger, for what they feasted on was death and destruction, nothing more. The Hunger, a byproduct of the last thoughts of the Fall as they ended their life, added a new layer of complexity and danger to the cosmic landscape.
The emergence of the Hunger marked a new chapter in the universe. These entities, driven by an insatiable hunger for decay and ruin, began to spread their influence, challenging both the Rise and the Fall. Their presence brought a new kind of darkness to the cosmos, one that neither creation nor destruction had foreseen. The universe, now home to the Rise, the Fall, the Humans, and the Hungry, entered an era of unprecedented turmoil and transformation, forever changed by the cunning of humanity and the birth of these new, malevolent beings. The cosmic balance trembled as the Hunger relentlessly consumed, leaving chaos and despair in its wake, challenging the very fabric of existence itself.
Exert from the Timeline of Birth, Death and Rebirth. A living and growing Universe molded by Players and thier actions.
The Celestials embarked on their creation by sculpting a singular world, the progenitor of all worlds, divided into distinct segments. They crafted each segment to be adorned with vast oceans, while others were draped in dense forests or tangled jungles, and some featured barren landscapes of rock or sand. Each segment served as a unique manifestation of their boundless creativity, a canvas upon which they could unleash their visionary powers and bring their imaginations to fruition. This world, the very first of its kind, was named Primis, signifying its status as the primary genesis of all existence.
