Hi there! My friend & I are starting a new horror-ish campaign and are looking for new players. I'll be a fellow player(Twilight Cleric) and my friend is the DM, he's a lovely story teller. It'll be a heavy roleplay campaign with good combat encounters along the way. The start time is 6pm CST, the day will be decided upon by the group. You can learn more about the campaign in his post here.
If you're new to D&D but love fantasy adventures and want a friendly, low-pressure place to start, The Nexus could be a great fit. We're an 18+ LGBTQ+ friendly Westmarch-style Discord server where new players are always welcome. You’ll build one(or more) character(s) who can hop between different DM-run worlds, with casual one-shots and story-driven games happening regularly. No need to worry about being super social right away — the community’s warm, supportive, and happy to help you get comfortable. If it sounds like your kind of space, check out the details here — hope to see you around!
Love your screenname. And legit, talking to people can be really hard. TTRPGs are awesome in part because we get to literally play out the role of someone else—whoever we want to be—so it's social without the pressure and baggage of being, you know, ourselves. haha
I'll be running an intro adventure every other Wednesday afternoon through Discord and Roll20.
It's for levels 1-3, which is great for a new player like yourself. All WoTC 5e/5.5e content is welcome; there will be some minor tweaks as house rules here and there.
I'm looking for engaged players interested in RP and immersion! Coming to this as a fantasy nerd, maybe that sounds good to you. I made a detailed LFP post, so check it out and let me know what you think.
Cheers, Ace :)
