Hello!

My name is Dennis (Age range 30-35) and I'd like to run Hoard of the Dragon Queen for the Fourth time. 

Game: D&D 5e
Group preferred: Online (Foundry VTT and Discord) (no purchases of software or books required)
Experience:  a few years as a DM and as a player.
Location/Timezone: Western Europe (GMT +1)
Availability: Tuesdays from 19:00 to 23:00 (sessions being once every 2 weeks) This Campaign will start in April/May-2026 and will run for Approximately 20 sessions.
Preferred role: I will be the DM
Game style: My DM style focuses on Exploration, Combat, some Puzzles and mild Role-play. 

I am looking for a  group of 3-4  new players to do a campaign i have run three times before.

For party balance we are looking for an equal measure M/F players, unless agreed upon otherwise by the players.

What is in it for you?

You will be thought the basic mechanics of Dungeons and Dragons. We will hold a session 0 to discuss what we can expect from one another. 

While playing with this group you gain access to (most) Books on D&D Beyond trough me sharing what i have.

I will be available to help you with everything you need to play D&D from creating your character, to backstory, to role-play advice. 

Please note that you do not need to buy anything or spend any money for these sessions. (you may of course Tip your DM after the campaign or support me on Patreon/KoFi ;) )

What is in it for me?

I get to hone my skills as a DM and play a game that I really like and am trying to perfect :)

Some things to keep in mind:

I use the standard rules for D&D. However every DM has some home table rules. 

When creating your character I'll always allow everything that can be found in The Player Handbook, Tasha's Cauldron of everything and Xanathar's guide to Everything. Third party content on approval of the DM. 

Both the 2014 and 2024 character options are available, but please note that the full character must be from either book. this is a choice per player. 

Minimum age to play with my group is 18 due to the themes that can be discussed. 

Foundry VTT is an online platform for playing Tabletop games online it requires a stable internet connection and a decent PC / Laptop.

After sign up

I will be looking for the right group that will function well together. 

You will be added to a Discord group where you will get a Private DM chat to discuss details. 

After the 13th of March we will pick 4 Players to run the Campaign with starting in April/May 2026.

We will also pick 2 players for "The Bench" in case one ore more of the Players Backs out after the first few Sessions or during the game setup.

• Max 18-21 M
• I've played 2 games, 1 as a player and one as a dungeon master, I understand basic saving throws, stats, how health points work, how spell slots work, the basics, I might need a little help sometimes though, as i'm still relatively new.
• I've been getting burnt out of managing my own campaign, and as it is ending soon I want to play a game of D&D myself again, as a player.
• I absolutely love seeing how other players handle situations and how my actions will affect the future, I love playing a support/protector role, thus I usually lean towards paladin and cleric, but I can play whatever class works best!
• I can handle mature topics and get along with various kinds of people. 
• I am free most of the time after 3:00 PM CST, but not after 8:00-9:00 PM CST most days.
