Hii im new to dnd and i want to join a campaign

Umm Hii i am new to Dnd and i want to gain experience i can mostly play during the weekends and friday 4-6 pm. in New Zealand time  oh and im also poor so dont expect any stuff i have to paying.

So yeah  also any advice on Dnd and how i can improve this characters  also i only have discord.
