New but not completely new - Looking for a group to play with

Semi new here.  Never played online but am looking for a group to play with.  Already have a wood elf ranger I put together, just looking for a DM and others.

We play Tue to Fri 9am EDT at level 6. Wednesday it is level 1. I dm since 1984. You could join us.

What kind of player are you? Do you have a character with a background, a pdf you could send me?

Dreams Come True - Thank you for the offer. I wish I could play in the morning as I'd like to get in on Wednesdays.  I like a 50/50 mix of story and battles.  Created character sheet last night.  I need to make the back story yet should be doable today.

Maladaar - Do you DM or have a group?  I'm looking to join up with some people.

Ideally, I'm looking for an evening group, I just can't do Wednesdays or Saturdays as .  I'd like to start a campaign at lvl 1.  Any day of the week is good, I just can't do Wednesday or Saturdays as I alternate those with a group of friends.

Group preferred: Online 
Experience: New (Probably about 6 sessions in) currently play biweekly with in person group.  Really enjoying the game and want to play more regularly.
Location/Timezone: Central US, CDT time zone
Availability: Sunday all day, Monday/ Tuesday 2-12pm CST, Thursday/Friday 2-12pm CST
Preferred role: Player
Game style: Some where in between casual and hardcore.  I'm still learning the ropes on the roleplaying portion, but no stranger to tactical rpgs.  I would prefer to join a long campaign but am open to short campaigns as well.

Additional details:  I'm a 38 year old male, so a mature group would be good.  I want to try out a ranger but will gladly use different classes to fill party/story requirements.
