Looking For a Group, Edmonton Alberta/Mountain standard time, available whenever

Hello, I'm looking to join a group for D&D. I have a fun Arch-fey warlock character I would love to play and have written what I hope is a fun/has an interesting back story. I am completely happy to work shop it with my DM so that it fits better into their world, but I've been wanting to play some D&D for quite a while. I'm really hoping to join a game with some meaningful role play between the players. If there are some local Edmonton groups I would love to join but I would still be thrilled to play with people online/across the globe. May I ask how you found your group? Was it through this website or did you connect in some other way? It can be such a challenge to find new members, it’d be very helpful to know if there are other avenues to explore. Thanks!

I found my group through a facebook listing. And I do agree it's very difficult for new players to find groups, especially  when you don't know other people who play.
