If you can look past the fact that we are young, that would be very nice. Im sorry if you need a more mature players. But let me tell you that me and my friend have 4.0's and we are fully equipped and ready for anything .
i read your posting and you both seem like you really want to play. I played as a DM several years back when it was 3.5 and have been thinking of getting back into it over discord with other interested players From the forum.
the age thing doesn't bother me too much, I don't run overly inapropriate content, and I feel D&D is a game that should be available to everyone. You would probably be playing with other adults - if they are ok with it. but I don't play with people who are jerks and would remove them quickly if there was any nonsense.
The only other thing is, I have a son who is now 8 months old, so my times to play are limited to weekends - probably Friday or Saturday evenings after 8pm? I was looking to get a group of 4 or 5 players and play 5E rules.
Either way, more people on a Discord channel could create a community of players that could possibly get other games up and running.
