Hello, so far we have a group of me, my husband, and another girl and we are looking for one or two more people to play a campaign with us. We also should have a DM. We haven’t decided times just yet, but it would not be on Tuesdays or Fridays and most likely would be anytime after 10am PST. Please PM or comment below if you are interested and please include the following information:
Bit about self: Mom of Teen Twins. I am newish to D&D. I got sucked into it by my kids. I was forced to DM and here I am looking for more playtime (preferably with similar age players). I am in a campaign SKT with a great group on Sun.
Types of characters you like to play: I would like to play a rogue or warlock.
Experience: just about a year
What you look for in a campaign: I love the collaborative storytelling part of it. I love the escape it gives me. I can play a different person and for a little bit I am not being judged for it.
Bit about self: I work nights form 10p-6a but im totally flexible, I'm a city police officer so I mean were not doing much lol...
Types of characters you like to play: Would love to play as ranger but definitely flexible...just not really into pure magic user.
Experience: Never played actual campaign before, however really dig the art so have had the books for some time, listen to a few D&D podcasts (Adventure Zone and Critical Role), and played plenty of RPG videogames where building a character is involved
What you look for in a campaign: Just something fun, nothing taken tooooo serious, but down for some RP.
Bit about self: I'm just another dude looking for some good old fashioned role play and fun that I can join in on without being judged. I have a harder time goofing off in real life cause of the fear of being judged, so I like the game cause it gives me an excuse to do that.
Types of characters you like to play: I usually have the absolute craziest ideas on characters. I, by no means, play basic characters. I also can and am willing to play just about anything.
Experience: 2 years as a player, 1 year as a DM
What you look for in a campaign: Really just something fun, exciting, a good bit of seriousness on the side. I like story driven, but sometimes you just gotta throw the party in a puzzle dungeon with no real story behind it. lol I like my combat to roleplay ratio as a 35/65. Also, teamwork. I don't like groups that can't get along.
Bit about self: Pretty laid back guy overall, just moved because of the military so I don't know people where I am yet. I'm available all weekend, and weeknights after 5.
Types of characters you like to play: I'll actually play just about anything, but I have had an itch to play a martial class lately
Experience: 2 Years with 1 group, Prepped a campaign that I never got to start once.
What you look for in a campaign: A little bit of political intrigue, interesting monsters and creative ways to solve problems(puzzles, working through social groups to build rapport etc.)
Bit about self: Single male in California, usually up most hours and a bit of a heavy listener of podcasts and audiobooks after too much time in a machine shop, and a few of them were D&D ones. I've DMed a couple times but the campaign died, and trying to get in as a player again.
Types of characters you like to play: Mostly done fighter, ranger, the martial classes, branched out as a sorcerer.
Experience: Current experience about a year with 5e, some of it using text and the rest in voice chats.
What you look for in a campaign: A fairly relaxed approach to exploring characters through a story, having fun trying to be something else and praying someone hasn't cursed my dice. It's not life or death, it's a game with the stakes being what happens to your person you tried to make and hoping for the best. That said, some level of respect and maturity would be nice, no one likes That Guy.

"I don't give a rat's f***ing ass how big it is, it can still bleed and I'm not dealing with this s*** a minute longer!!!" -Brass Khorne, Dragonborn Rogue/Fighter Battlemaster.
"Welcome to the Weeping Willow! Ale, rooms, or both?...Yes, dogs are fine, why does everyone ask that?" -Lucky Shot, Tabaxi Eldritch Knight and Innkeeper
"Greetings, I'm Sir Dexter of House Barkton. What do I do? I'm a Good Boy." -Dexter, Awakened Dog Rogue and knight of the realm.
Bit about self: I started playing DnD with my high school friends who I Dm. We've been playing for a few months, but they're all self proclaimed really lazy procrastinators who don't finish their homework so we don't get to play that much. I wanted to join as a player in a campaign to have fun and learn how to play Dnd better.
Types of characters you like to play: I'm interested in druid or bard, but I'm flexible.
Experience: As stated above, a few months Dm-ing and having no idea what I'm doing.
What you look for in a campaign: I'm a theater kid so I love the RP part of DnD. I'm fine with any playstyle, but the way I play myself is more laid back.
Bit about self: I'm an avid board gamer, a spotty musician, tax preparer by day and Critter by night (Is it Thursday yet?). I never miss a game and though I'm new to the roleplaying aspect personally, I really enjoy Critical Role and the like specifically because of their roleplaying.
Types of characters you like to play: I love spellcasters, and have a Sorcerer and Wizard already in mind. I could play other types comfortably if needed!
Experience: I've got about a year of experience with 5e, and in that time I've played at least 1 session a week, read as many DnDBeyond Source books as I could, and listened to hours and hours of Podcast games every day, all throughout the day. Additionally, I've already begun the LOOONG process of creating my own world and story for DMing in the future, so I've got a very complete and solid grasp of the rules.
What you look for in a campaign: I enjoy a good balance of all the aspects of games: battles, dungeons, social, RP, exploration and whatever else a DM will throw. I prefer longer campaigns that span dozens and dozens of sessions, but would be interested still in shorter ones.
Thanks for the consideration,
-KB
