So basically I’m looking for players and potential DMs who enjoy a lot of homebrew and rp heavy DnD games. I’m not rlly into strict rules or modules. While I don’t mind the official settings for the most part I do like the allowance of lots of DM and player creativity when it comes to games.
I will say that I’m a rather inexperienced newbie when it comes to actual play. I’ve been interested in DnD for over a year now, but haven’t had the consistency in schedule and just time in general to play for real.
I’ve watched actual play shows (a bit religiously tbh lol) however and have done some research and own quite a few of the sourcebooks here on DnDBeyond.
I will also say that if anyone is looking to start a homebrew game but doesn’t know where to start then I would absolutely 100% down to brainstorm ideas. I have so many and I’m always coming up with more. I also just love creating homebrew stuff in general whether it’s races/subraces or subclasses or even weapons. I love it. I’m just bursting with ideas all the time and I need a way to get them out lol.
In the end tho I’m mostly looking to create a group of friends who can have fun with each other and shoot the shit at the end of the day as well as create awesome, crazy, funny, and dramatic stories together.

Hey everyone! I just wanna say that your interest the last day or so has rlly made me happy. I will say that I did manage to find a group to join however with all the interest this (and the other posts on different platforms I made) gathered I have decided to make a small discord server to sorta build a community of sorts to help facilitate in helping others find groups to play with (but also to sorta just bond over similar hobbies and such). I’m working on the base version of it now even though I’m technically at work lol. But I should have it finished in a day or two at most and once it is ima send all of you links to join. Hopefully this will help us all find people to play with much easier in the future.

Feel free to hop in using this link here. You are absolutely welcome to invite your own friends as well. As long as they abide by the guidelines of course. I will in the future be looking for moderators to help me run this server but I likely won't choose anyone until I get to know people better.
