Depends at what level you're taking the dip, and how often you get to short rest. At low levels, if you don't get short rests all that often and want to be using your ki all the time, you'll want as many levels in monk as possible. If you think either of those 1 level cleric dips will be more fun and flavorful at the level you're playing at, then take it.

I am now on 6th level, considering taking after level 8 asi. We get short rests on a medium frequently.
Either of those dips will be good, I would say light domain would be a better effect at that level of play, but if you have a party member that can cast bless (or you cast it yourself), then you can stack that with the peace domain effect for almost guaranteed hits.

Light domain has defensive reaction.
Peace domain has the bond.
Or go full mercy monk?
