My DM will allow me to go multiclass into circle of spore if i wanted to. Im thinking as my end game goal of 14 Kensei monk/6 Spore Druid. Everything im looking at seems like a plus unless im missing something... Am i missing something?
Monks are pretty level dependent for their impact, so be aware multiclassing away from them reduces that.
Most of all though, play a character that seems fun to you. :)
One of the joys of 5th edition is that there aren't many combinations that are truly bad, so go tell a cool story.
