when do you want to do Lindir + Ikko cousinship Legolas?
Once the whole Solanar-is-actually-a-devil is done and dusted.
What? Is he an elf or a devil?
He's a elf with fiendish traits. Here's his story:
High Elf
Paladin
Wants to join the Guardians
Hates Calius and the Devils and came to Lesta to fight them
Used to be the adoptive son and weapon of an archfiend who had him under a sort of spell
Broke the spell and came to terms with what he'd done
Took an oath of vengeance and wandered worlds fighting evil
Uses his dark powers to protect the light
Fights evil for a living
Dual-wields two Moonblades
Is really powerful but doesn't show it
When did you introduce him?
Last week, I think.
Here's when he revelaed what he was
There is a crash as the door is kicked in. Solanar walks out of the tavern, and gazes at the wreckage around. He raises his head to look at Orion, and his eyes turn dead black. A pair of black, ragged wings sprout from his shoulders. He rises into the air as a cloud of heavy black mist erupts around him. A vertical circle of black flames appears around him as he reaches 20 feet of the ground. He draws his Monnblades, and their edges flicker with dark fire.
Jeez. None of my characters are that cool, sometimes I try but they aren't imposrtant enough. They're more like background chracters.
Just do what I did. Make a 20th level paladin with a massive backstory XD
Or.... create a lv 7 barbarian with a massive backstory like I did XXD
I don't like barbarians or paladins (no offense for those out there). I tried creating what, 5 characters and the only one that's lasted is Ikko. I think my characters aren't powerful enough, all of them would get squashed by anybody else.
Power shouldnt matter. I literally play a commoner.
Maybe they're too boring, or not tragic enough, or maybe I try too hard. idk
I think I know what it is. you have an emo 13 year old in a tavern full of super complex adults. you have 2 options. 1, add a huge backstory/ make it tragic/ character arc/hidden secrets. 2, you play ikko as a sort of joke, like I do lulu
Since this is not LOTR, I've moved it from that cult to here. Continue!
I honestly dont really see Ikko as emo..... Just me?
yeah... I dont even know what emo means though. anyways, right now he is going the way of the lulu, which is nice for a bit until the character gets ignored
Emo is a phase where your saying 'its not a phase, MOM'
ohhh.......so every teenager ever?
Incorrect, and thats kinda ageist, TBH
I guess? is that even a word? but I know a lot of people like that, and most are in the 12 to 16 age range. I guess the nerd community is different(better but also wimpier)
It is actually a word. And, yes, that is the stereotype, but do people really ever fit stereotypes?
well, dnd people also watch others play dnd? no, not really.
Emo is when you are depressed most of teh time. people who are emo tend to wear black and have low charisma.
Actually some of them have very high charisma.
Like Obadiah, for instance.
He uses it all on Charisma (Edginess).
I didn’t want to him to be this handsome, slick guy. So I made him edgy and opinionated.
Astara totally called him on everything, though.

Ok.
Obadiah has been in exactly one long-term relationship before, with Tara (the one in the cutscenes), who ended up not only betraying him, but also having been cheating on him for a little over a year. Obadiah only found this out recently, and he’s in a bit of a bad spot. Then, Kane, someone he looked up to - as their previous lives are quite similar - did exactly the same thing. Being as emotionally volatile as he was at that time, his perceptions of Kane immediately flipped, and since he couldn’t kill Kane directly, he has done everything he can to try and make Kane fell worse than he does, therefore making himself feel worse in the process. While this is going on, Obadiah has a deal with Bael, who helped him escape the clutches of Mephistopheles, to return an ambiguous possession of his. Obadiah remembers Kane use to work for Bael, and uses a device he has for communication with Bael to tell him where Kane is and that he will attempt to get him back to Bael. However, Obadiah realised this was a terrible idea, and apologised to Kane, but he doesn’t know when Bael’s deadline is, and is debating whether to try and hand over Kane, or try and kill Bael, or hand over himself.
