But Boba is not just a Bounty Hunter, he's the Alpha.
I'm actually picturing the showdown just like the concept art, except in that corral it's going to be in the Polynesian spa where Boba had Jango's remains buried. Filoni, try something new.

I come to the forum for an inflated sense of irresponsibility, and just had some free time the past couple of days. Besides, beyond the Polynesian spa a new way to engage the Force has been revealed:

Spoiler for latest Bad Batch episodes (I think it's fair to keep recent Star Wars media discussion like Bad Batch, the High Republic and the current comics runs under spoiler, I actually kept away from the cult because I only watch the show every other week so didn't want any spoilers):
I kinda likes Finale Part One: Return to Kamino, aside from "Oh, we'll just leave Gregor with Sid ... I don't see that going well." I mean the tempo went well, I figured the Emperor would box up the Kamino cloners ... and I'm guessing divert them out of the Empire proper to the Sith Cults on Exegol, so cool to see that play out. Still not sure where all the CTs are being shipped off to. Are they all being dumped on Dora? Sold out as slave labor now that (or real soon) the empire will be legitimizing slavery again at least in Imperial controlled outer rim worlds? Or maybe dumped into meat grinder battle zones where they'll be ill equipped and have to fight like cannon fodder while Admiral Rampart fine tunes the Stormtrooper program?
Speaking of Dora, thought it was interesting the new TKs chased the 99s shuttle in V Wings. I know we've been seeing legacy Republic gunships/transports used to move troops around, but have we seen TIEs yet? I mean I could see the Empire just toggling from V Wings and maybe ARC-170s and even Y Wings to the TIE series, but I was hoping to see maybe another transitional craft between the Eta-2 (clear TIE forebear) and the TIE, maybe something that looked more like the TIE but was capable of using the hyperspace docking ring, that'd be cool to see some TIE jump out of hyperspace in rings piloted by pilots wearing clothing that's evolving into the Imperial pilot black suit.
Anyway, I thought the Crosshairs/batch drama was done decent. I mean there are some big logic gaps in Crosshair's arguments about being the victim here, but if any of the 99s had "delusions of grandeur" it's him. You all think he'll smooth out with the batch with one episode to go or do you think he'll be sort of like Fenn Rau for the better part of a season of Rebels in in some sort of constructive custody until he fully integrates with the teams current motives.
I do like the whole Clone Troopers while having skills that should allow them to thrive in the underworld still lack the savvy, street smarts or simple "worldliness" that would allow them to fully integrate into regular society. It's sort of a sad story for most of the Army of the Republic I'm guessing and probably another factor as to why you just don't see many clones alive and around during the Rebellion era.
yeah, I know the eta-2s were the "next gen" Jedi Starfighter after the delta whatever they had (and the art direction was intentional to make it look like something between those deltas and the TIE, it's evocative but doesn't really make a lot of sense from a defense industry perspective, although it could in that in some ways systems built for a military's "elite" do sometimes find their way into a more mass deployed form for the rank and file), and while Kuat Drive Systems built them, I could easily imagine Raath Sienar "hostile takeovering" Kuat using the eta-2s as proof of concept for what would become the TIEs series (I'm not sure where it is in the lore but wookiepedia mentioned while the TIE engine concept impressed a lot of the Republic's military industrial complex, the power demands of the TIE engine did not integrate with the hyperdrive and life support of the sort of star fighters the Republic was fielding at that time (so what does Sienar do? Start producing starfighter concepts without hyperdrives and life support, which was probably the sort of aggressive and cost cutting innovation that would have impressed the imperial naval bean counters).
Reading the FFG manuals, I like the corporations behind the various military hardware. I don't know if the Han Solo or Lando old cannon set in the corporate sector even dealt with it, I know somewhere in lore, maybe West End Games, Incom's X Wing design team was basically liberated from imperial house arrest by Rebellion operatives, then the whole B-Wing mythology from the old lore that Rebels the cartoon sort of made problematic but FFG smoothed out with canon approval (basically the B Wing in Rebels was a proof of concept craft, and the Shantipoole asteroid facility took that concept and scaled it for mass production in time for at least Endor.

The Polynesian spa meme confused me at first, but it's grown on me. I guess I tried something new. As Kit Fisko I should end every post with this: :D
