*Wait, why?*
*Because an encounter and combat break was sprung on for a month with no warning*
*It’s a maintenance break for the tavern. It was discussed a lot, and there was opposition to it, but we decided it was necessary to deal with the issues the tavern is facing. That doesn’t mean you have to get rid of your characters - you just need to delay your encounters.*
*To after Christmas break. To when everyone is going to be offline again. And its not just encounters, its also pvp. And 0 people told or asked me about it once*
*You have been told about it at the same time as everyone else, excepting the mods. If everyone had been included in the debate, it would have stretched on forever and no conclusion would have been reached.*
*Thats the problem. We didnt get prior notice. Like at all. I had so many things planned for Christmas break when people were actually going to be online. Now, all of my plotlines can get torn to shreds and thrown in the garbage. I understand the debate part asking people not to speak or something, but when were completely not included, it makes it feel like our opinions, thoughts, and feelings dont matter at all.*
*Conversely, since Christmas break is when people are going to be online, it’s the perfect opportunity to have an encounter break, because people are going know what’s happening and be able to be aware of and follow the rules. I know you will have issues - I had stuff planned as well - but it needs to wait. Fixing the tavern has to come first. I know we didn’t give prior notice, but false expectation would have been a bigger issue. It was a case of the less rotten apple, I’m afraid.*
*Im just... Im done... I know Im not being listened to at all, and that I dont matter, so Im done.*
*I am listening to you.*
*Theres a difference between listening and hearing. Youve made your point clear. Nothing I do or plan ever matters. So, Im done*
*I was trying to tell you that although we didn’t consult you, support was expressed for both sides. IMO, it was a fair debate. Unfortunately, we can’t make everyone happy all the time.*
*Not even just consult. Theres a clear communication problem. You didnt give us a month notice. You didnt give two weeks. You didnt give one. You didnt even give 2 days. You told everyone less than 24 hours before it happened. And your acting like its my fault for having plan ideas for the time people would actually have time to play*
*If we had given you notice before discussing or someone had convinced the mods to change their mind, people would have mixed messages, and some people would delay encounters etc while others didn’t. Also possibly causing disputes.*
*I agree with Chris that notice definitely should have been given. Any of those things would happen no matter when you gave notice, if they occurred at all. What you did was basically dropping a bomb on everyone's plots. No one had any idea. They were expecting to go ahead with their plots as normal, and then you totally crushed that without a single warning. It threw everyone off, and was quite frankly a terrible decision to make at the last moment.*

*When else have you pointed it out? I don’t remember this kind of thing happening before, but I haven’t really been on much until recently.*
*When Lego and I have arguments because hes doing something, its blamed on me and I get yelled and even cussed out for it. Even when hes the one that started it. Weve both been asked to try to not bother each other, and Ive taken steps to. Ive blocked, left shared PMs, etc. Hes made 0 steps to try, yet Im the one blamed. This specific scenario has popped up more than 5 times. Do you need more examples, just read through any of the discord when BH and I are both on at the same time. Its always the same thing. It repeats every time. The mod team specifically goes out of the way to make sure Im the one blamed for things, and when I point that out, it gives the same response as when I point out anything else*

*can you guys quit arguing and start roleplaying? And maybe get rid of the quote chains?*
*The issue needs to be addressed, sorry. I’ll cut the quote chains if Chris hasn’t already.*
*I think it is solved. Encounters should be posted on the Lesta PM at least 24 hours before they take place. Great. Can we please start roleplaying instead of arguing?*
Both my actives disappear cause they're freaking useless now.
*You could have scheduled the encounter break later, then notify after the decision was made, but still give people ptior time and notice. But you didnt. And when its pointed out, you dont even see the problem.*
*Thanks for explaining. Yes, we should have given notice - I apologise for not seeing the problem - but we can’t now. Is that what your point was?*
*A part of it. My point is this kind of thing happens over, and over and over. It never gets addressed, and when I try to point it out, this mod team blames me for it, acting like its my fault that I have a problem with it every time. Now everything I once planned for or even had a concept of is ruined. I just dont see a point in continuing to try to do anything on here if this is just going to keep happening, and BH is just going to ignore it abd do the same thing.*

*I’m sorry that you feel that way, but I think you are mistaken. It sounds like you dislike Legolas for reasons unknown and he is unaware of this reason, and as a result you argue, due to you both being very stubborn.*

*Okay, let's go back to the tavern*
Xathor walks downstairs and asks if the bartender if he has any coffee.
TDR skips going down the stairs and takes a long jump, taking no damage from the fall due to the tavern enchantment.
