*Hello, how is everyone's day going? I, personally, am almost done with regionals.*
Raphael is walking
Gwen is still reading, as they have for the past five hours
Yacatl is brewing stuff
*Morning ghost. I'm still pretty tired, but I'm here, so there's that.*
Soldaer is sleeping on a couch in the tree house, having been working on growing all the furniture.
Phantom is laying on the ground outside the tavern in his dragon form, watching the sunrise with a slight smile. Occasionally, a tear will fall from his face.
Yazrin is on the roof, drinking from a bottle of cherry Feywine.
Yacatl walks up to the roof with his alchemist supplies, pleasently surprised that Yarzin is up on the roof as well. They wave to her, while making a mental note to check on Phantom later
*Yazrin's a guy, lol.*
Yazrin waves back, smiling slightly, and seeming a little tired.
*Uhg*
"You okay? Need a cat nap?"
Yazrin shrugs a little. "Just a little tired is all. Maybe a bit bored."
"Mmm... Want to be a test subject?"
Yazrin raises an eyebrow. "For what exactly...?"
"Potions."
"Sounds a little dangerous..." Yazrin tries, a little unsuccessfully, to blink the sleep out of his eyes.
"Okay, maybe another time... How is the deal working out for you?"
Yazrin shrugs. "The other...entity hasn't been pressuring me...which is rather odd. I haven't made a move to do anything in the deal, but yet they aren't punishing me or Riley for it." He looks a little more awake now. "It's almost as though they've forgotten about it."
"In my experience, that is either very good, or very bad... What did you get in return?"
Yazrin chuckles. "In case they haven't forgotten, I can't say, else mine, Riley's, and your lives are forfeit."
"My life has been 'forfiet' numerous times. One more isn't that much." They try to joke
Yazrin tries to crack a smile, and nearly succeeds. "I know you aren't scared, and neither am I. I'm more scared of what will happen to Riley. I...I love her, and losing her......I've seen the pain that Phantom's going through...I don't know if I'd survive it." He rambles on for a while, surprisingly out of character, but he's obviously terrified of the thought of losing Riley, although he's doing a pretty good job of hiding it.
Yorac finishes sharpening the edges of his shield and slings it over his back, walking outside and heading around the left side of the tavern.
Raphael watches and follows, curious
As Raphael rounds the corner after Yorac, he has disappeared entirely. He can either make an arcana, investigation, or perception check.
Perception: 20 *they also have truesight*
*He’s not invisible.* Raphael sees footprints going all the way to the edge of the abyss, where they stop. Looking down, he can see Yorac about a hundred feet below, climbing down the wall at unnatural speed. He appears to be within hearing distance at the moment, though he won’t be for long.
"Need some help?!?!!??" Raphael yells to yorac
He pauses and looks up. He unslings his shield from his back, slamming it into the wall so it wedges in, and climbs up onto it. He crouches down, before jumping almost thirty feet up and summoning the shield into his hand, wedging it into the wall again and repeating the process until he reaches the top, breathing hard. “I’m OK. Just wanted to see if it had a bottom. I didn’t see one.” He offers his hand to shake. “I’m Yorac.”
"Raphael." They say, shaking it. "Are you an adventurer?"
“Yes. Sometimes. If I’m really desperate for money.”
"Well you seem adventurous at least. What do you do for a living then?"
“I’m a soldier, on and off. I’m on leave at the moment, however.”
"Cool. Who do you fight for?"
