Aricyra is over by the lake again.
Ash waves. "How is it, sis?"
She smiles. "I'm doing well, Ash. How about you?"
"Good. I've been talking to Loki, and Anva about stuff..." Asherah says, sitting next to them. "And I just wanted to... I guess 'certify' some of my thoughts about me and you staying together after all of this."
She smiles. "Like what, dear?" she asks as she wraps a wing around Ash.
"About the future... I could stay with Loki, but he is in college and Anva is... weird. King, Aovin, and Cold all have lives that don't intersect with the material and... I am not that sure about you. Like, I don't want to impose on you but also it would be nice to be with my family."
She shifts, and gently pulls Ash closer. "Hey, everything will be fine. I can stay here, at least until Asmodeus commands me to return, but that shouldn't be for a few years at least. The Blood War is the same as it has been for years, so there isn't actually all that much I'm needed for. He can still teach me and help me grow my powers, so...."
