A young chitine, about 5'5", stands in the middle of the road. She has a dirty green T-shirt and jeans, and bits of rugged leather are strapped to her arms and knees. She looks around, and cheers. "Yes! Finally, I got out of there! God, I hate almond water!"
A big truck loudly honks in front of her, a dwarf stuck his head out the window. "Hey, kid, get outta the street!"
Estelle, still a bit disoriented, runs to the sidewalk. She looks around. 'Wait a second.... Where am I?' she says to herself.
The dwarf watches from his truck and pulls to the curb. He opens the door and steps out. "Hey, kid! Are you one of those people who just appears here?"
Estelle slumps her shoulders. "Uhhh.... I guess so. Where am I?"
"Well, to put it simply, you're on a different world. It's called Konton, you're in City 78."
"Do you know if there's any place I can stay?"
"Yeah, a couple blocks away there's a building an old man called Gerry made for y'all. I'll go ahead and drive you over if you want."
"Thank you." Estelle, clearly puzzled by this strange contraption, clings to the side of it.
"No, come inside." He opens a back door.
"Oh. Okay." Estelle climbs along the side of the truck into the door.

The dragon lands on the roof of a building down the street.
Theren walks toward the building briskly, shoving people out of the way occasionally.
When he arrives, the building seems to be a sort of store, with a big neon sign in the window that said "O'Loren's Firearms!"
Theren shrugs and walks in.
The human, tabaxi, and teifling are at the countertop, getting handed a duffel bag by an orc.
Theren puts his hand on his sword before tapping the human on the shoulder.
The human smacked his hand away, talking to the orc with the other two, they seem to be talking about some sort of deal.
Theren, absolutely tired of this bs, grabs the human by the shoulder and turns him around.
Strength: 22
Within a second of Theren turning him around, the clicking of various guns trained on Theren could be heard, the orc hand a big rifle, the tabaxi has what looks like an augmented uzi and the teifling has a pistol as well as the human.
The teifling laughed as he saw Theren. "Well, look at this! The headass decided to turn up!"
The orc grunted. "You know this guy, D?"
The teifling put his pistol away. "Yeah, he's one of those arrivals from down the street."
"Ok for the love of the gods can someone explain what the hell these are." Theren says with a hand on his sword hilt.
The human laughed as he took a step back, leaning on the counter top. "I told you earlier, guns. This right here is O'Lean, O'Loren's brother." He reached up and patted the orc's shoulder.
O'Lean put down his rifle. "What the hell did you kids bring to our doorstep?"
The tabaxi chuckled. "A new customer! Just what you wanted, yeah?"
The orc frowned. "No, Izzy, not what we need, what we need is money, and a rat from another world isn't a source of money."
The human patted O'Lean's shoulder again. "It's alright big guy, I'm sure you can get some sort of use out of this shithead somehow."
"Sure. Give me a job. I could prove myself." Theren says with a smirk

A younger male stands in the middle of the road, looking around confusedly, "What in the?" He murmers. He's an average human (Looklike), 5'9, caucasian skin with a small tan, short brown hair, and ice blue eyes. He's built pretty athletically, but doesn't seem to be armed. After a moment he winces and brings his free hand to the side of his head
Across the street, a kenku arrives from an alleyway and swiftly makes his way across the street to the human. "Have you just arrived, new one?"
"Oooookay, what the hell are you?" He asks, looking at the bird
"I am Harold, though this voice isn't mine. Follow me, there's a place you can stay until you get used to City 78."
"um..... alright." he says, following them,
The kenku lead the human through a series of alleyways, crossing streets, and through other buildings. It was clear he knew at least this part of the city like the back of his hand. Eventually, the kenku stopped in front a small brick building. "Welcome to Starhoppers, a sort of refuge for people like you."
"Well ain't that quaint," He smiles, nodding respectfully to the kenku and heading inside

Estelle turns to the driver. "So, who is this Gerry guy?"
"He's probably the nicest person you could meet in the city, he runs this bar that takes in people like you 'till you get used to the city. You'll be safe with him, I can't think of anyone who doesn't like him."

A younger male stands in the middle of the road, looking around confusedly, "What in the?" He murmers. He's an average human (Looklike), 5'9, caucasian skin with a small tan, short brown hair, and ice blue eyes. He's dressed in a t-shirt and jeans, with a holy symbol of some sort hanging around his neck. In his hands he carrys a book, which has the same symbol as the one around his neck.
Inside was pure chaos, all different types of people of different races intermingled amognst each other. The place itself was reminiscent of an average bar, some tables scattered around the place, a small stage on one wall, and of course a bar counter, with a wall of different liquors on shelves behind it. Tending to the bar was an old man who waved.
They smile and return the wave before wincing at something. After they seem to recover, which only takes a few seconds, They walk over to the old man, "Hey there sir."
"Welcome, new one! I'm Gerry, you can stay here 'till you get you feet steady in this city."
"Thank you very much for that." They nod, Looking around, "So, you know the reason we're here?"
*DEVIL'S CHEESE I can't believe I missed the launch by three hours*
A crack sounds, followed by a bright flash of light like Saint Elmo's Fire on gasoline and steroids. In the wake of this outburst of energy, a man appears on the street, coughing up fits of blood on his hands and knees. The rain beats down on his back like a thousand angry hornets, as he wipes his own vitality from the corner of his mouth. He slowly, shakily gets to his feet, straightening his now-drenched suit jacket and tying back his gray hair. "That was ... unpleasant," he says, brushing himself off and marveling at the neon-lit empire built up around him. This was for sure: Seferis wasn't in Kansas anymore.
*So excited.*

Hi, I am not a chest. I deny with 100% certainty that I am a chest. I can neither confirm nor deny what I am beyond that.
I used to portray Krathian, Q'ilbrith, Jim, Tara, Turin, Nathan, Tench, Finn, Alvin, and other characters in various taverns.
The orc groaned. "Let me go get Loren." He disappears behind a door in the back.
The teifling (Who was called D by the orc) looked at Theren and smiled. "Well, I was half-expecting you to get run over on your way over here!"
The tabaxi (who was called Izzy by the orc) laughed. "Same, man, you were definitely roadkill material."
Theren shrugs. "I'm quicker than I look."
The human chuckled with D and Izzy. "Clearly not in the head, though!"
"Still getting the feel of this place. It ain't Whitewater."
The human walked over and clapped Theren on the shoulder. "Eh, maybe you'll be lucky enough to barely survive. I'm Jackson, call me Jack, the cat right there's Izzy, she's a bit coocoo sometimes, so don't mind her, and the devil right there is Daniel, cal him D. Welcome to O'Loren's Gunrunners!"
"Pleasure to meet you all." Theren says with a grin
"You better hope you make a good impression with Loren, or she'll feed you to Ol' Lizard up there on the roof." Izzy laughed and bumped Theren's side with her shoulder.
