 “Well, at least they died for a semi-good cause. The ones who killed those people where trying to kill me… by killing them. The whole death loophole is quite strange.”

 "I think my head hurts.  I'll take your word on that.  Too complicated for me."

 “If you want, i could try simplifying it.”

 "I'm pretty sure it's best for all concerned if I know as little about magic relating to death as possible.  Thank for the thought, though."

 “..you are probably right. Anyways, do you know how to play dragonchess?”

 "No, but that I might like to learn.  As I age, I find relaxation in endeavors like reading, listening to good music, cooking for friends... and chess.  I'm not familiar with dragon chess however."

 “It’s quite like chess, but the queens are jesters and there is a dragon as well as 2 ogres that take up more space on each side, in the version i have, at least. Nobody can decide on the one true version.”

 "Whew!  Had me worried there for a minute."

 “I’ll go easy on you, considering I’m a local grandmaster.” She sets up the board, and explains the rules. It differs from chess a bit, with the new pieces and some extra rules, but it is similar. “Ready?”
