 The black-wrapped creature slowly, but not stealthily, approaches. "May I help?"

 She looks up and smiles "Of course!" she said and grinned

 It holds out its hands. "Animatis." Everything begins to set itself up at a dramatically increased speed, as though the footage was sped up but the actors removed. "Are you expecting company?" The dishes bow, then finalize their placements.

 "Im Oval!" she chirps and sets up one lantern. "Yep! My friends are having a tea party with me." She points at the hulking goliath and the grumpy dwarf.

 Theren looks panicked as he looks around wildly.

Phoenix kisses his head. "Love you hon."

Alric picks her up and settles her on his shoulders. He then starts to talk about the trees and different types of plants.

 "Theren?" She sits beside him again "You ok?"

"I know..... I love you to." he grumbles.

She listens intently, looking where he points.

 Theren calms down a bit. "s-sorry..."

"aw....dont be a grumble gus."

Alric seems to be in his element, explaining everything with ease.

 "You have nothing to apologize for." She says and pats his head. 

"I will be." He says and stands up. He snaps his fingers as his clothes magically shift into a a button-up, white dress shirt, a light brown vest, and black dress pants. He runs a hand through his hair, fixing it. 

"What about cloud giants? How do clouds support them?"

 Theren looks like an emotional wreck.

Phoenix whistles. "You look good in that Jack." he says, running a hand through his hair, messing it up and flexing his arm.

"That...is a great question. I have no clue."

 She pats his back "What did you see?" she askes. 

"Mn." Jack says and smiles, his cheeks flushing again. He stretches again "cmon, i need food and outside." he said and chuckles. 

"It makes no sense in my mind."

 "People dying." Theren gives a shaky smile, "You know, the usual."

Phoenix stands and stretches out his hand to Jack.

"same here."

 Lore sighs and holds his hand. "I wish there was more i could to cull these nightmares..."

Jack takes it and chuckles. "Man... Mr merc wants to hold hands."

"Hmph. Nature is weird."

 "it's whatever Lore...."

Phoenix rolls his eyes. "Oh shush."

"Indeed."

 "Its not" She said and narrowed her eyes. 

He chuckles and walks downstairs. 

"You wanna have a tea party?" she askes and tilts her head

 Theren waves off her concern. "It is. Trust me."

Phoenix walks next to him with a smile on his face.

"A what?'

 She gives him a look of disbelief 

Jack sits down at a table by the window and looks out of it. "Look like its going to be a good day today." he smiles and turns to face Phoenix. 

She grins and drags Alric over to Vega.

 "What?"

Phoenix nods and leans against him. "Yeah it does."

Alric stumbles after her

 "I dont believe you." She sad and sighed. 

Jack begins to hum a soft song that slowly turns into the whisper of a song.

 Theren lets out an angry sigh. "I've dealt with this for a long time."

When he is done singing Phoenix looks shocked. "That was amazing hon..."

 She gives him a concerned stare.

"Heh thanks" he says and grins a bit.

 "Lore...Trust me. I'll be ok." he takes her hand and squeezes it gently.

"Of course."

 "I hope so." she said and huffed. 

He kisses him happily.

 Theren smiles at her. "Ok! No more dreary thoughts! How about we go swimmin now, eh?"

Phoenix kisses him back.

 "Fine." She huffed and followed him. 

Jack chuckles and leans against him.

 Theren leads her to the lake and stands at the edge with a smile.

Phoenix sighs, content.

 Lore grins back and quickly turns into a sleek otter and jumps into the water. 

"How are you feeling? Mentally? Psychically?"

 Theren stabs his swords into the dirt and takes off his shirt. He then dives in after her.

"Mentally, happy. Physically, sore."

 She rolls around in the water, jumping through the currents.

"Hmph. The price of being cut" he said and poked him.

 Theren starts to swim downwards.

Phoenix sticks his tongue out. "Yeah yeah."
