"Your children kill each other on a regular basis. Killing me wouldn't save a single one of them. The children of my village will be fed one way or another." He seems to be healing as he talks.

"They kill each other because it is nature. When you add yourself into the equation, it hurts the ecosystem." She says, a smirk growing on her lips "I must remove you im afraid"

"I'm afraid you are wrong on both accounts. I released these animals months ago so that the life magic they are suffused with would dissipate, making them edible to my village's children. And if you desire to destroy my body, you are welcome to do so. It would only make the situation worse, I'm afraid. My siblings have respected my boundaries simply because of my presence here, but if I happened to disappear, they would come to see what has happened to me, and they are much less environmentally friendly than I."
"It is nice to meet you as well." He holds out a hand and makes some noises that Flint immediately recognizes as rat speech. "It is nice to meet one of similar proclivities."
'That sounds like an interesting project! Fun, as well, lots of time in nice pleasant environments!'
"It was abominable. The rats were ruled by wererats that kept control of the city above by setting increasingly virulent and lethal plagues loose on the populace."
