It hits her directly in her side, piercing straight through her body. Though, Mirinn simply roars and chops down on the tail three times with her axe, attempting to chop it off.

E is humming a tune as it piles ludicrous amounts of food on the giant table. "Welcome, Rusty. I am almost ready to begin The Meal."
"Wonderful! I was wondering if you would like a quick lesson before you do." Rusty walks up to him and set the bag on the ground.
"Of course. The guests must be filled with both terror and wonder, after all."
Rusty smiled. "So, to begin with, I would like to see in action how much talent you have." Rusty took out some tools and some parts. "Please, make a toy. Whatever you want."
"Hmm... I'm not used to such equipment." It fiddles with the parts and tools for about ten minutes. "Here." It places a small toy bird on the table. It winds the toy. The bird shakes itself, chirps, and then flies around in a circle before settling back into its original position.
Rusty politely claps, pleased. "Wonderful! Now, let me show you the best way to use the tools."

Rusty pulled some of his own tools and parts from his coat, sitting cross-legged on the floor and getting to work. After only about 2 minutes. Rusty presented a chihuahua-sized wooden and metal monkey. He gently yanked on the monkey's tail, and it started moving like a real monkey, climbing over Rusty for a moment, then running off into the darkness of the mansion.
"How interesting. An opinion other than my own shared without the threat of violence. How rare. I shall consider this idea during my practice."
"That is all I could ask of you." Rusty stands up, dusting himself off. "Alright, I shall leave you to The Meal, I wish you may find the most pleasant guests."
