When he’s finished picking carrots he grabs a few more things, flicking his wrist and making eggs appear in his hand as he walks to the kitchen “Stare all you want sweetheart.” He says swaying with every step.
"I'm gonna" She says with mischief in her eyes as she follows.
He walks into the kitchen, and begins to make a cake while she focuses on his.
*ppfffft* Eventually, she ceases her deviant activity, more focused on his eyes whenever they are in view. As before, she rests her elbows on the counter and her chin in her paws, lost in the way he cooks.
His eyes, despite being grey and empty feel full of life and passion, maybe a reflection of what is left of his soul. He moves like someone who doesn’t want to do anything else, like this is what he lives for as he goes, a soft smile on his face.
"You smile when you cook... you smile when you water your veggies... you even smiled after you fell asleep in my lap... it feels so good to see you smile..."
“When you do what you love you can’t help but smile. I may have a life that’s ending but I’ve learned that crying about it won’t help anyone get better, you have to do what you love, or nothing at all.” He continues working on the cake, humming a tune to himself.
She sighs as she wipes away a tear "you're so poetic.... my little bard~"
He smiles at her “With all the time I spend talking something wise has to come out eventually.” He lets the cake sit for a bit, putting it in to bake.
