*Trying really hard to come up with a new power for Prospero. His current power doesn't really fit with the vibes I want for him in his semi-new incarnation.*
*It needs to be strong enough that he can actually deal with enemies that have armor or something like that, weak enough that it isn't all-consuming or absolutely lethal, and it needs to be able to be used responsibly or irresponsibly, so nothing that is harmless to people or that requires suffering to function or anything like that.*
*Hmmm... perhaps telekinesis? It'd probably need an upper size/weight limit on what can be manipulated with the power, but it's a fairly morally grey power in that it could be feasibly used for both a lot of good and a lot of bad. With it, Prospero may be able to tear off armor plating on well-armored foes, shield himself from attacks by having an object take the hit for him, or disarm opponents by pulling their swords and guns and such right out of their hands.*
*An interesting idea. I've always thought TK was an awesome power, but it's kind of boring on its own.*
*I once had a character with telekinesis, but he could only manipulate things that had his blood in or on them, so he carried around explosive blood packs. That's a little gruesome for Prospero, since he's supposed to be this paragon of virtue in a dark world and not a crimson slasher or anything like that.*
She sits on the bench next to her. "That's good. I'm doing alright. Figured out how to use Mage Hand. It doesn't exactly stay a hand when I try to move it and pick up stuff, but it still works."
It delicately sets the vase down, leaving faint bits of dirt on its surface. "And you're doing very well so far." It moves back over to Tim's other creations, looking at each one with a different flower head.
"Some things don't got to work the way they work fer everyone else. What matters is that it worked at all, I'm proud o' ya Omori. I was actually gonna go check up on you when I finished my workout, but it's good ta see ya here already." She smiles, the constellations moving across her skin, shining bright.
Tim dusts off the dirt, his skin subconsciously changing to match theirs once more. He nods, smiling meekly "T-thank you." The others are of all different shapes, colors, and sizes.
"Thanks, I'm trying my best." She replies, smiling back at her, the glimmering constellations reflecting in her eyes.
The crooked flower watches Tim curiously, lurching forward slightly and lowering its main flower head to around eye level. "Now that I think of it, I have a proposition for you regarding our little secret. Your magic... this energy... does it hurt?"
The constellations seem to shift, coming together, taking the shape of something. It makes a moment for her to realize what it is, it’s her, made from stars.
Tim looks into their eyes or where their eyes would presumably be, his swirling with all the rainbow colors of wild magic within “I… never thought of that… no… it doesn’t hurt, why?” He ask, putting all his vases away to dry.

She audibly gasps at the realization and her eyes widen in awe, still reflecting the light of the little stars. "W- Wow! I... I'm honored!" For just the briefest moment- a blink of an eye- the reflection of the constellation in the little shadow's eyes seems to gleam a touch brighter.
Helianth picks up a pot in its roots, holding it carefully. "I see... are you content with having this magic? Do you like it?"

She smiles all the wider from their reaction “Ya shouldn’t be, once ya have magic o’ yer own like I’ve got you’ll be able ta pay me back.” She kisses her thumb, then placing the thumb onto her head “I’ve got to get back ta my run, but if ya want to come along I won’t leave ya behind.”

*So, I came up with a potential flaw for Prospero: He can't let go of his own past. He's so empathetic that he has a habit of projecting his traumas onto others and thinking that he's being truly sympathetic. He might break someone's evil robot minion and cry because he remembers when his dad broke his toys and think that these are equally painful experiences. In reality, Prospero is indulging his guilt that he feels about every single bad thing that happens whether he could prevent it or not.*
"Y- Yeah, sure!" She hops up from the bench, ecstatic. "I'll try to keep up."
"Well," It starts, its other flower heads all focusing on Tim. "As I said, I have a proposition for you. I have extensive knowledge in matters of the arcane, and my goal- which I already told you about before- would be easier to achieve with some help. You help me build the machine I'm working on, and in exchange, I can help you understand your magic. If you end up liking it, I'll help you unlock its true potential- if you don't, I'll remove it for you. Interested?"

*Just a lil fun fact for each of my favorite characters-
Damian doesn’t have a high school or college level education, and only knows how to read because he brother taught him.
Rag is the oldest out of all my characters not counting those who are centuries old at the ripe age of 48.
Sparrow always accidentally overcooks his food, and always does that thing where you juggle it in your mouth while it cools.
Thane has never beaten Merabelle in an arm wrestling match, though it’s always very close.
Merabelle, during her travels had a career in illegal kick boxing matches, where she remains undefeated to this day.
Grimes, actually isn’t the sneakiest member of the crew, that going to Thane, the two always being the last ones in hide in seek.
And last but not least, Tim, Tim is actually the youngest in his family, with an older sister and an older brother who were also experimented on.*
