Thirteen is sulking at the bar after losing at Risk to Caramel.
Mauric is keeping the restaurant running, far more comfortable with his position now.
Loriche has been working the wall as best as she can for as long as she can.
Riotan is looking for ferrets and/or weasels.
Eito is asleep, curled up like a cat at the feet of the rocky Kasinen shrine.
Riotan finds Omori, who is stargazing outside the Inn.
Rio looks up too. “Something about the night sky always makes me want to get some mutilating done.”
She looks over at him with a bit of surprise, not immediately noticing him. "Oh, hello. It's beautiful, is it not?" She asks, looking back up to the stars.
“Mhm. I don’t believe I’ve met you before though…” He turns to her.

From the other side, Home is trying to stick his head through.
Riotan feels a presence behind him. Samaritan stands there, dressed in a pure black suit with black clothes covering his heads. He tilts his middle one "Would you care to accompany me to dinner by any chance?"
Thirteen raises his head morosely. “Sure…”
“Think… hahh… think it’s almost wide enough?” She pants, swinging heavily.
“Oh!” Rio looks up, seeming to slightly blush. “Yeah, of course.”
She leads him upstairs and points to the bed where Harmonia and Soul are. A spectral wolf pup lies amongst the covers. "She created her first familiar!" She says and gestures to Harmonia.
"I could try and squeeze out. Would be a tight one though." He said, shimmying a bit.
Samaritan nods and lifts the cloth to reveal is burnt and scarred face. He presses a kiss to Riotan's head before standing back up "Would you prefer a place personally?"
“Oh, marvelous!” Thirteen looks genuinely cheered by this. “It’s always wonderful to see the next generation learn the Art and respect it… though I can’t say my own familiar is in my good graces at the moment…”
“Nah, don’t bother with that… we’ve almost got it…” She continues chopping. “Then you can finally leave, then maybe you can come live with me, and I can make you armor and teach you magic and we can hang out… it’ll be so cool!!!”
Riotan stares up at him, surprised. “N-no… anywhere you’d like… unless you prefer me to pick.”
She laughs "I heard and saw it." She likes him and tilts her head.
He nods "I would like that actually. You're the only person I pretty much cared about that's come here so far." He says.
He nods and leads the way. They end up at a fancy bistro and are settled outside on the restaurants patio dining. Samaritan watches Riotan for a moment "If you are uncomfortable, we can leave. I will not mind."
"My, that sounds like an interesting story indeed! I'll have to look into the play to see for myself- I'm a huge fan of theatre myself." She sounds genuinely interested, producing her notepad for a second to jot down the name of the play before putting both it and her pen back in their respective coat pockets.
”yes, it is an extremely heartfelt performance… I think the original writer died forty or so years back… one of the downsides of being the Archfey of a court of mostly humans, 95% of them aren’t immortal. Well, that and I have to deal with all of the big problems, like the flood…”
*Sure, I'd love to!*
"...the Flood?" KK inquires, seeming just as interested as before but not quite as cheery.

“Yes… have you named it?” He asks Harmonia.
“Great!” She gives a mighty swing, trying to knock out a hole big enough to finally let Home out.
“Oh no this is wonderful! I’m really glad you actually took me here. It’s reassuring that you think of this relationship as more than physical.” He smiles kindly.
Harmonia shakes her head "I wanna call her Spirit or ***** or something." She said.
Suddenly, they both watch as a huge chunk, the size of a window, breaks and falls to the ground. Home looks stunned, amazed, and happy.
"Mn, something of the sort. My emotions towards you are complex.." he says "Then again all my emotions towards others seem to be that way. "
*what were you trying to write there?*
Loriche gasps and drops the pick, looking to him wearily but eagerly. “Ready to step out, then?”
“Good enough for me. Let’s head in.”
*I tried to write birch but it autocorrected sadly.*
He nods and slowly extends an arm out and then steps out. He looks around, a bit scared to move.
He nods and leads the way in. The two are seated at a table in the back. Samaritan nods to the waiter and he brings over a bottle of wine and lets them be.
*ah*
"Wonderful names. I'm sure your bond will only strengthen over time as your knowledge of the arcane increases and increases."
She smiles reassuringly. "How's it feel?"
Rio looks around idly. "How come you wear those masks, anyhow? I think you're pretty beautiful."

She looks confused for a second. “I mean the-… OH- sorry, he-he. Forgot you weren’t a native of the court. It’s… really not that big of a deal, really… there’s just a prophecy that one day, we don’t know when, there will be a flood to wash away the sinful of the court, leaving only the Archduchess… weeping on her throne. -But really, we don’t know when, could be in ten thousand years all we know!”
“Yes… have you named it?” He asks Harmonia.

She takes a moment to process Aurelia's explanation, seeming a little... sad? "That's the thing with prophecies- we don't really get all the details until it's actively happening. Whether it's true or not, I can't imagine that's easy to avoid feeling anxious about. Here's hoping, if it is true, that it's ages away." She softly smiles, trying to seem somewhat comforting.

*I love that idea. Sweets are one of my favorite themes to work with.*
*Right now I'm working on a snake-like Dark Power since I don't have time to RP. There are a lot of supernatural serpents out there, so picking just a couple is going to be hard. I had the idea of incorporating those themes of divinity and rejuvenation as well as poison and gluttony. It would be easy to go in a fey direction from here, but I think that's more your thing. Plus, shadowfell monsters have epic potential.*

*how fun! Dark powers are so interesting. I had a dark power that was a snake. She was a chef, the embodiment of starvation that was suffering from a constant gnawing hunger she could never satiate, so she decided to make sure nobody she cared about felt the same way*
“So what kinda feeling do you get when you look up at the night sky?”

She smiles too, trying to act cheery despite the heavy subject. “Thank you… one of the only… real productive things I do is try to find a solution to it, but nothing so far is working. It was told five hundred or so years ago, just before I became the archduchess… now, you, uh-, might think that a flood the washes away the sins of a court? That must be a… a good thing…” she starts, her voice a bit shakey. “But… all of the native mortals of the court… everyone born in Fontaine... Are born with sin in their hearts.”
"...Comfort. It feels comforting." She responds.
