He hands them the vial “Give this to someone and they will be cured.”
She smirk softly at them “You know what they say about curiosity. I would have to say it’s both.” She sips some of her own.
She examines it carefully. “Mm, what is is This?”
he considers it for a moment, but eventually he takes a sip of the blood wine concoction.
“A perfect cure for any disease. A all cure if you will.” He says, smiling under his mask.
It is delicious, though definitely cursed. They would be immune to the curse, which doesn’t surprise the Duchess “What would you think?”
”I see… how does it work?”
”i liked it. But that was soooooo magical, tell me, what was it supposed to do to me?”
“You drink it, and in a matter of minutes any disease is removed from the body, leaving it in perfect health.”
She crosses her legs, sipping her own wine calmly “It may provide the crimson curse, which would give you an insatiable thirst for this wine, tearing yourself apart in the attempt to get more.”
”mm… what does it come from?”
“Ooh, how fun! i don’t like wine all that much though. Are you cursed?”
“My homeland of Yharnam, you likely haven’t heard of it.”
She nods “Unfortunately so.” Her turns her hand, revealing it incredibly pale, like a dead person, though she is not dead.
“Less made, more found. Though there is no need to worry.”
“For quite some time, though it isn’t all bad, having improved my body in many ways, my years extended as well as my physical capabilities.”
”side effects?”
”ooh, cool. So, are you like a vampire or something?”
He pauses, rubbing his chin “Well everything has a little bit of possible side effects with it.”
“Something similar, though not the same of course. What may you be Mr?”
“Mm. i asked you what they were, dear.”
”I’m Vanilla… you?”
He sighs “A very high chance to be driven jnsane, or be turned into a ravenous beast.”
“Most simply call me the Duchess, you may call me Ambrosia.” She smile softly.
“Thank you for your honesty.” she gives him back the vial.
”Ambrosia? That’s a nice name… you know, theres a food called Ambrosia.”
He takes the bottle back, sighing softly “Of course you are afraid to risk it. I do not blame you in all honesty.”
She raises an eyebrow curiously, licking her extra sharp canines “I did not, I may find myself eating some one day.”
“Oh, you mistake common sense for fear.”
”well, It’s a special food. Usually it’s a fruit, but some people can make it. Its main appeal is that anyone who eats it becomes a god. It also tastes… really, really good.”
“Less made, more found. Though there is no need to worry.”

“One and the same to someone like myself. Though I am far from sane.”
She listens to them with interesting, raising an eyebrow, “Quite ironic how I am far from godly then isn’t it?” She chuckles, putting a hand on their shoulder “I must ask, how you would know about the taste?”

”well, I think you can put two and two together.” he chuckles, and Thunder rumbles in the distance.

He stands up, bowing deeply and respectfully “It was kind of you to consider. I am Henry, a pleasure.”
She chuckles with them, pulling her arm back, a clawed nail running along their shoulder for a moment “I would not have expected to find myself in the presence of godhood, but such is life is it not?”

“Mother Misery. Why do you risk using that volatile blood… potion?”
Vanilla shivers a bit. “I-I mean, I’m not exactly the god of anything important. Sweets. Candy. Hospitality during the holidays, that sort of stuff. I do have all of the god powers and stuff, though. And my blood is golden and glowing!”
“Because the risk is much worth the reward, a perfect cure if it succeeds, and if it doesn’t I get the hunt those who drank it. Either way, though I much rather hope it works.”
“A god nonetheless. Golden blood you say? I wonder…” She gets an obvious idea, her fangs glistening with a slight smirk of the lips, a finger tapping her wine glass.

“That seems horribly corrupt… Nevermind. How often does it work as intended?”
”you wonder what?…“ Vanilla creates a candy cane in one of his hands, fidgeting with it.

*Sorry, I’m back now.*
“Unfortunately it hasn’t worked yet, but when it does it will be amazing and grand. One day it will work.”
She puts the wine glass down, looking to their neck “Would you mind if I had a taste? Not much, just a little.”
“how is it made?”
”I see… how long has it been affecting you?”
*Cut for Arch.*
