Thirteen is writing at the bar, drinking his green tea serenely.
Eito is floating on their back in the lake. Their light shines through the water, a ghostly star in a nightly expanse.
Yod is practicing archery with a bunch of different-sized fruits lined up on a fence two hundred feet away.
"Did I make it right?" saphuno asks carefully.
"Eito!" Omi calls out, walking on the surface towards them
The Puppy Prince only watches, loving the sport of archery.
"Of course. Thank you so much for helping to fuel my marinations on the mortal condition." He smiles reassuringly.
They look up, sinking forward and beginning to tread water. "Hello." They call, though their voice still sounds quiet.
Yod lets an arrow loose and it puts a clean hole in an old cantaloupe as he turns his head to look at Cevin, nodding at him.
"Anything for your hard earned silver." she chuckles. "What's the topic this time?"
"Doing some pondering?" he asks, crouching down and sitting on the water.
Cevin claps for them politely, smiling. "Glorious shot."
"The harmful and discriminatory aspects of the elven philosophy of reincarnation."
"Always. But I am also exerting my presence onto the physicality of the water. As shall we, it is born anew." They lift a hand, showing that the water around them has turned slightly paler and more viscous as it trails off of their cold velvet fingers.
"Most of them tend to be." He walks over. "Nice to see you."

No news is good news…
I'll lay a white rose on the cold earth, knowing it that it has not claimed your soul.
*Working on my big bad right now... has anyone here heard of the Falling Devil?*
*I have and I can see why she'd be a perfect character basis for you*
*This character isn't going to be "a crisis." This is the crisis character. Stroth's true son. The parts Rio wasn't able to bring back.*
*And of course, I'm going to make them utterly overpowered and wonderful.*
*...*
*Dammit, I have to actually give them stats, don't I?*
*oh that's sweet. i had already planned out what Stroth's kid would look like, but I love this concept*
*You could still have part of the kid, filled out with say, demonic energy. But this is the other part.*
*I'm still in the planning phase, but I'm hoping that this will be a truly spooky character. I hope they are allowed a redemption arc in the future, but I doubt it given what Lawrence and I have discussed.*

"I'll pretend to understand that." she says, preparing him another mug of tea.
"And why are you doing that, if I may ask?"
"Nice to see you too, Yod." he stands up, smiling. His ears are pinned, though his tail jostles slightly.
"Basically, elven religion in regard to how our souls pass from body to body has been corrupted to discriminate against those of mixed elvish heritage, either condemning them as human thieves of elven souls or decrying them as elf bodies without spirits glorified by the gods. It's all very bigoted and I want to call attention to this harmful institution through formal writing."
"It serves as both ink that never degrades and my only real source of sustenance."
Yod notices this body language but doesn't react to it in any visible way. "Sorry, didn't mean to seem to ignore you. I was just real focused."

*That's nice to hear. I haven't RPed here in a while. My characters have stopped appealing to me for some reason.*
*Well, I could list reasons, but that would take a while.*

*Good to see you too. My circumstances have been pretty miserable. Happy moments have been frequent, though, so that's nice.*
