A carriage pulls into town. A man steps out of it, looking around.
He has deep, rich, umber skin, like the color of cocoa beans. His hair is done up in dreads, draped around his shoulders, and beaded gold. His cheeks and chin have a light 5 o'clock shadow, the same color as his black hair. His eyes are a deep brown color, like that of coffee without any milk or sugar, reflecting the town around him. He wears a simple, white button-up shirt with a brown vest overtop, its golden button glinting dully. Along with that, he wears a black peacoat that is stitched with intricate designs of plants and vines. He wears a pair of brown slacks and a soft pair of brown loafers. Wrapped around his shoulder is a simple satchel made of tanned hide, it is stitched with depictions of a flowering meadow that is looked upon by the sun. He fidgets with golden rings on each of his fingers, a similar necklace and nose ring adorning his person.
He pays the carriage driver, putting on a smile, before grabbing his luggage from the top. He watches them ride away before taking a deep breath, retrieving a cloth from his pocket, and coughing into it before folding it again and placing it in his pocket once more. He hoists his bags and heads to the tavern.

He chews on their words, frowning a bit. "I will admit, thats not the offer i wanted... but, I'm tired of destroying my life and invading on others. Consider it done."
"Did you f-find Him?" she asks nervously.
He shakes his had. "I don't know, perhaps I'll stay in this town for a while."
“Sweet. Hold still.” Rio turns to him and suddenly plunges his fangs into your forehead. However, they sink through you like water and don’t hurt you at all. It’s just an odd sensation.
“No. I’m no detective. But I think there actually is some investigator guy who came to town recently.”
“Okay.” Yod shrugs. “So, uh… who are you anyhow?”
He fights the instinct to jump back, wincing in non existent pain.
"O-oh, okay...." she frowns. "Thats okay... I just wanna keep myself safe."
"Cevin Lyverious of Lindenwald, unflatteringly known in my kingdom as... The Puppy Prince." He says the last words with a pout.
After a couple moments of this, he draws back. “There you go. Simple as that.”
“Well don’t worry, I’ll make sure nobody hurts you! Not in my establishment!”
“I can see why.” Yod responds bluntly.
He shudders, grabbing his forehead. "Really? It's over?"
"Last I heard, you're the janitor..."
"The title is degrading, and unruly!" he pouts again. "Just because i act different, and enjoy certain things, does not make me a puppy!"
“Yeah. Try a spell. All you have to do is, like, clench your brain, and the words and motions will come to you.”
He frowns. “True. But doesn’t mean I can’t do my part to help people, right?”
“Certain things? Like what.”
He tries to summon... a waffle.
She giggles. "of course."
He flushes again "Things I shan't discuss in public."
It doesn’t work because that’s not a warlock ability at level 1, but he still can feel the unknown tingling of magical energy and its potential.
“I mean, being the janitor here ain’t too bad. Eventful, for sure. So what do you do for a living?”
Yod looks around at the utterly silent and deserted forest, brushing some hair out of his face. “Doesn’t get much more private than this, I’d say.” He seems quite oblivious.
"F[GP]" he says, pouting. instead, he tries chill touch on his glass of water.
"I am... a hired mercenary and escort."
"N-not what i meant..." he says, rubbing the back of his head. "Uhm, do you know of... anywhere to get a drink?" he asks, clicking his pointer claws together.
The liquid freezes and small spidery cracks begin weaving along the surface of the glass.
“…okay.” He nods.
“There’s a tavern of sorts a couple miles west. I can bring you there.”
*bro hit that 🥺👉👈*
"[GP] yeah!" he laughs, fist pumping.
she nods, sipping her water. "Y-yeah."
