*Howdy y'all. I'm working on home brewing a fire eating bard subclass and a very weird monster. Its been awhile since I've home-brewed but I'm having fun.*
*ooh, fun! Tell me about the monster!*
*and by the way, I am nearly done with the thread, and I’m just starting to revise it and simplify it, as well as making a template to keep track of everything you need to.*
*It's the Camelleopard. It is a bizarre creature that came from another world of Lewis Caroll madness. Because it has come from a land that makes no sense and truth is naturally muddy, it finds lies and deceit to be very familiar and somewhat comforting. It can sniff out a phony from far off and its appearance is dreaded by charlatans everywhere for it is a clear sign that they are lying.*
*That's awesome! I've been brainstorming kingdom ideas for it and I'm having a hard time narrowing it down.*
*i love Lewis Carroll, and that sounds awesome! In medieval times, didn’t some people think that Giraffes were hybrids between Camels and leopards? I remember hearing that once.*
*ooh, fun! I have some basic details for mine: Vallereine, ruled by the Noble, Lady Bouclaire (and eventually Queen) and a few other supporting families who came to power after overthrowing the previous noble of their starting town. If you want, I could help you with your ideas, to narrow it down and stuff!*
*Lewis Carroll is one of my favorite poets. Yes, the Camelleopard looks exactly like a giraffe but with startlingly violet eyes. It's useful to throw at your party if they've become particularly deceptive.*
*The first idea I had was a kingdom that had something called the Flesh Pits (name could change later). The Philosophers of the Flesh Pits can take a corpse and give it new life. However, they can also twist, break, or empower the bodies of those thrown into the Flesh Pits. They use this to create crippled armies and they promise their soldiers to heal and even strengthen them if they serve them well. For example, they could create a misshapen servant with broken, useless wings jutting out of their back. If the servant performs their duties well, then they will be promoted and their wings will be strengthened so that they can fly. This would also mean that the rulers of the kingdom are somewhat immortal and have strong, beautiful bodies. This is probably too complicated though to work in your system.*
*My other ideas were for a kingdom ruled by a twin bodies that share one soul. The two bodies originally had two different souls though and the other one is still out there. I also had a fungal zombie kingdom that all shared one conscience and a frog kingdom that had different abilities/roles depending on what stage of their life cycle they were in.*
"Now now, that's not very nice. Maybe if you said please?" He says as he brings out the cylinder, dropping the empty round out of it and taking aim at a tree with it
"That's a good lad." vines bind him to the tree, letting him sit or stand freely, the water dissipating. "So, did I not mark my territory clear enough?"
"I consider this false, knowing my mother, but i'll take it. You're hurt, dear.."
"Hey! It's mine, I don't need to say please to anyone." He looks worried when they prepare to fire the gun, trying to reach out and take it back from them.
He sighs, his eyes growing more tired than anything as he sits down, "Is it too much to ask for one simple day universe?" He mutters to himself, before looking at them, "I was just taking a nap, okay?"
"You shouldn't, I'll keep saying it until you believe it." He pushes himself up, "Not too bad, it'll heal. I've had much worse." He walks over to her, smiling.
he brings it out of reach a moment, firing at the ground, nowhere near them. "C'mon, you can say it."
"Just a nap.. Alright, then nap. But do it somewhere else." She seems to want confirmation that he's going to leave
"still, you wounded is not a sight I like." she sits on his unwounded shoulder, frowning.
A bullet seemingly full of acid begins to sizzle the ground where they shot, “Give it back, it’s mine, you don’t even know what it can do!”
“Why should I listen to anything you have to say?” He says, realizing that a pretty stupid thing for him to say, especially considering the situation he’s in.
He puts a hand on the shoulder, healing it as much as he can, which is most of it, “You’re a sight I like~” He says, grinning.
"Not sure you do either. Just say please, okay?" he ejects the cylinder, dropping out the empty round
"Beeecause I'm a prime predator and you're tied up. And, this is my territory."
"I like the sight of you, too~" she giggles, kissing his head
He, after being difficult for a few more moments holds out his hands angrily, “Can I have my gun back, please?”
“What does it matter if I sleep here or not, I’m not hunting, or effecting your territory, I just want a nap.”
He laughs, sighing as the sweat burns off of his body, running hotter than usual, “Maybe just a few more hunts and then I’ll be done.”

"That's the ticket." he smiles, emptying the cylinder into a bag and handing it back to them, a sly smooch on their forehead. "Cuties shouldn't be given guns anyway, but oh well."
"Alright, then nap. I'll let you go when you wake up."
She puts her paws to the stone, sighing contently. "Sure, i'll be watching to make sure things don't go bad."
He looks back up at them, clinging to his gun which he puts back in his duct tape holster. He slowly tries to back away a little bit, “Cutie?! I am a dangerous bounty hunter!” He looks only the angier.
He does try to go to sleep, mumbling in his sleep, and hoping they aren’t there when he wakes up.
He cracks his shoulders, kissing where he can reach, which is just their hips, “Welp, unless you want to fly with me, you should possibly get off my shoulder, dear.”

*Of course, but you must take the wood demon as well*
Podmorski is gutting an archfey on the reception counter of his hotel. Given the amount of blood, the fey wasn't dead when he started.
Ted is performing, singing and dancing in a circle of candles that are burning a little too high to be normal.
Baegoji is creeping around the woods on his giant spider, the shrine-bearing beast eerily silent as it watches over a bandit camp.
Jack is padding through the blood, stretching. "Isn't it a bit early for murder, dear?"
Isaac is supporting Ted's talents, just observing.
Jax is staking out the same said bandit camp, going after a big score.
*Sorry for the delay, my mom called and I got to talk to her for the first time in days*
"Mm. No." He reaches inside and pulls out the colorful intestines.
He does a spin, creating a vortex of flames which then burst into the shape of a huge skull as he bows. There is quite a bit of applause, which stops after he falls on his face.
Baegoji rides through the camp with a sudden burst of speed, trampling the tents and fire and leaving paper flyers fluttering through the air. They warn of dangers to come and demand that the thieves either change their ways or leave the town.

*Good to know, it'll stay on the list then. The twins would have different personalities, but one twin has taken control of both bodies and the other twin is trapped in an ethereal, ghost-like state of being. That twin might also be trapped in a magic item or something and the evil twin draws power from it.*
*My mom once said that no one would kiss me because of how I look. I rarely leave the house (I have nowhere to go) so I often don't bother with putting on clean clothes as long as the ones I wore yesterday don't have stains and don't smell bad. My hair is naturally oily, and that rubs off on my face, so I look like Grease Miser no matter how often I shower and it infuriates me. Overall I am a disgusting goober and you should be appropriately disgusted with me.*

*I love it. I look forward to see what you decide on.*
He sighs, blushing still a little under his fur before deciding to run off as quickly as he can and make it out of here.
When he does wake up, he tries to run upon seeing them, but presumably is still stuck to the tree.
He rushes through the forest, wings boosting his speed even farther as he runs after some sort of flying wyvern.
(good end? owt else?)
"God, you're so annoying!.." she sits up, the vines releasing him. "get outta here, dude."
She watches, completely awestruck by the power of a mortal.
*Specifically, not really.*
He sighs happily after being freed, “Thank you, did you call me nice looking?” He shakes his head “Not important, bye.” He runs off to find somewhere to nap.
After a few more hunts and a few little injuries, he does finish up, and the jungle disappears. Rag walks back to the house.
